Hi - I'm Karry and I live in Montana. I have done traditional scrapbooks for some time and have only recently started scrapping digitally. I initially joined Pixelscrapper for the papers because I thought there were so many nice collections. I would print them out and use them in my own layouts or in mini-albums that I like to make. I've been using Photoshop for awhile but mainly just for photo editing. I have learned so much from the tutorials on this site and that is actually what started me scrapping digitally...so, THANKS PIXELSCRAPPER. I have a 1 1/2 year old boy and it seems now I am scrapping more things since I can do it on the computer which is great for our family in the long run. To me doing layouts with children couldn't be any more fun! I LOVE IT!
This layout was really fun. I totally cluttered it with bath toys because as all you moms know, bath time comes with a plethora of anything plastic that will float! The paper is from DigiScrapDelights on Etsy. I actually purchased it to print for a mini album I made so this is the first time I have used it for a digital layout. The "Squeaky Clean", "Rub-a-dub-dub", and "Bath Time" titles I got from Miss Kate Cuttables. I love her stuff...it's so cute.
I used a template for this layout but modified it for an 8x11 layout and moved it around a little. All of the little bath toys I just got off the internet. Funny story...I Googled "bubbles" to find a bubble texture to put on the bottom. Well...there was a great one from a dish soap add. Well...it wasn't until I was all finished with the layout that I took a closer look at the "bubbles" and they are all actually glass dishes. HAHA...oh well.
