Happily married, Pastor's Wife, Former Homeschool Teacher, Proud Parent of two dynamic young people...one of each. Youngest is on a full tuition scholarship to 5 year undergrad and seminary degree @ Moody in Chicago, and one counseling with a women's crisis shelter, but the plan is to save enough and to go on to her Masters in TX. I live a life complicated by Fibromyalgia. We have enjoyed the change in role of parenting, and still cherish any time we can visit with them.
Description
These photos were back several years...wow.. yeah, 8 actually! These photos marked a time for my daughter of heading into a ministry her own, apart from the family. Some of the first photos, actually I have very few photos of her when she was doing lay-renewals. She went with a couple in our church as they traveled to other churches. She was heading into her teens as you can see, and worked with other leaders with the teens. She formed some friendships with teens in the churches and helped encourage sharing of experiences, and challenges. Perhaps why she has ended up picking her line of study. I recall some concerned phone conversations about how she needed to pick her focus of study...how she had taken all her general courses and really needed to pick a degree. But as "mom", I see how God was preparing her, and how she was learning to bloom where she felt God smiling on her during these lay-renewals.
The actual scrapping of this one was different for me using only 2 photos! I've always been one to use many photos, so it was a new experience for me. I also played with GIMP on creating my text from marisa-lerin_7471_solid-paper-yellow and marisa-lerin_3546_ephemera-17-overlay. Though you can't see much of it, I enjoying the learning of the overlaying digital technique.

Great job and layout!
Nicely done!
What I liked the most about this layout is your title. You could make it using the same color you got on background, but you can still see it clearly! It´s great!
