About Me
Hi there! I'm a teacher. I try to find as much time as I can to edit photos and make digital scrapbook albums. I'll admit it: I'm addicted. Holidays with my husband are my favorite subjects. I also spend lots of time managing my stash of digital papers, templates, png's etc. It's turning into a hobby in itself. Does anyone else suffer from this same tic? :)
I love browsing on PixelScrapper. Especially the stories behind photos or layouts are of interest to me.

Digital Scrapbook LayoutDescription
Our holiday in Portugal, the Algarve, February last year, gave us a much needed boost to get through the rest of winter. The colors were brilliant, blue, white and yellow. For this layout I used a template called SG 6.psd and used Marisa's tutorial 'Using inner shadow to make a cut out', here on PS. That's how the background seems to be on top of the pictures. The texture under the background gradient is ps_marisa-lerin_15630_textured-overlay-30.psd .

Very unique. Love the photo focus.
Thanks for all your lovely comments, girls!
Lilian, this is so NICE!!! Love all the blue and that place looks gorgeous. You probably enjoyed it very much. I know I would.
Goregous! I love the cutout matrix look for the photos. It grabbed my eye. :D
Gorgeous layout, Lillian! It really gives a sense of the place & of your vacation. And great job on the shadowing!
as for the tutorial: there is a small difference (in fact, it's even easier than Marisa describes) because all you have to do is give an inner shadow to the part of the template that you've clipped the photo to. So you don't have to create another layer. If you have one part done, just hold Alt and click on the fx icon, drag it to the other parts of the template. It sounds more complicated than it is, really!
Thanks ladies! The template is from Lea France, there are 12 or so in a pack and I can't wait to use them all, they're very versatile.
Great page. The template is fabulous and the monochromatic colors enhance it. Good job on the shadows. Will have to check out that tutoriall
Love this! Super great job on your layout. :-)
