About Me
Hi there! I'm a teacher. I try to find as much time as I can to edit photos and make digital scrapbook albums. I'll admit it: I'm addicted. Holidays with my husband are my favorite subjects. I also spend lots of time managing my stash of digital papers, templates, png's etc. It's turning into a hobby in itself. Does anyone else suffer from this same tic? :)
I love browsing on PixelScrapper. Especially the stories behind photos or layouts are of interest to me.

Just a bit of fun. We hired bikes for a day in San Francisco (well, we are from Holland, after all!). I liked the old bicycle by Sheila Reid (27940 vintage bicycle), and it kind of grew from that. Paper is Marisa's 3583_ephemera_bit_pu.jpg. The San Francisco skyline I made by removing the sky from a photo, and blending it with the paper.
Funnily enough, the middle shows up a bit pink, it doesn't do that in the original, thank goodness. I gave it a vignette, maybe that causes the problem.

Nice blending of the old & new, with a clean look & not tons of elements hiding a photo.
Glad you like it! It wasn't hard to make, especially with the paper provided bij Marisa.
Love the style of this layout. It would be fun for the cover design of a printed scrapbook about our travels
Oh, this is just wonderful, love the skyline at the bottom of this page and then your graphic style. Awesome.
love the color
Beautiful - love how you've used the skyline.
Very interesting layout!
Beautiful!!!
*heart* this one!!
Really cool layout!
Lovely layout!
Thanks Kaleena! As for stamp: it was even simpeler than that. The numbers and shapes are in the paper. All I did was desaturate it and use a dry media brush to erase the parts that would have clashed with the skyline, the bike or the photos. The paper is brilliant.
I love this, Lilian! I love the black and white photos and the stamps.
Thanks, girls!
love that you converted the photos into B&W. wonderful layout!
Love the monochromatic theme here. Perfect choice of paper and elements for your photos. Great job.
