About Me
Hi there! I'm a teacher. I try to find as much time as I can to edit photos and make digital scrapbook albums. I'll admit it: I'm addicted. Holidays with my husband are my favorite subjects. I also spend lots of time managing my stash of digital papers, templates, png's etc. It's turning into a hobby in itself. Does anyone else suffer from this same tic? :)
I love browsing on PixelScrapper. Especially the stories behind photos or layouts are of interest to me.
Description
Still scrapping my old photos, this one from 1985 when we were in London. The background is a photo that I converted to a line drawing, then I put a blue paper on top and changed the blend mode to Hard Light. The template is SwL_March2014MISTemplate.psd , the papers are London Calling from Etsy. The tag is ps_elif-sahin_41128_ride-a-bike-word-bits-date-tag_pu.png

Thanks Sandrine! You should try it yourself, it's very simple. The description is in one of the comments

Love the line art!
I'm glad it's working for you!
Many thanks for the tutorial!
Right now, you save the layout I'm working on. LOL
Among many skatching/line-drawing technique, I belive yours is the most simple, the best in result, and easy to arrange!
You'll never know how many times I've struggled with those of them to be dissapointed...
this is so cool! and thanks for sharing with us your technique
Again, thanks, girls! The line drawing is incredibly easy, 5 or 6 steps and you're done. Take any picture, duplicate the layer, desaturate it (Contr+Shift+U), duplicate the desaturated layer, invert it (Contr+I), set the blend mode to color dodge. You'll end up with a totally white image, but don't worry: use gaussian blur to reveal the image again. Done!
Very nice! Love the sketch technique.
Awesome, I wanna try that technique now. :D
I love it! (and other your works, too!)
Thanks, ladies!
