About Me
Hi there! I'm a teacher. I try to find as much time as I can to edit photos and make digital scrapbook albums. I'll admit it: I'm addicted. Holidays with my husband are my favorite subjects. I also spend lots of time managing my stash of digital papers, templates, png's etc. It's turning into a hobby in itself. Does anyone else suffer from this same tic? :)
I love browsing on PixelScrapper. Especially the stories behind photos or layouts are of interest to me.

wlm 2015 blended photo.
I love this photo, one of the first we took upon arriving in Monument Valley last summer. I turned it into a line drawing first (see below for a quick and very effective technique). Then I placed the same photo on top of the line drawing, clipped it to an empty layer and revealed as much of it as I wanted with watercolor brushes. Blend Mode (if I recall correctly) is darken to make the black lines come through.
Line drawing 101: duplicate your layer (Ctrl+J), desaturate that layer (Ctrl+Shift+U), duplicate this new layer, invert it (Ctr+I), blend mode Colour Dodge. This will make your image disappear, but use a small amount of Gaussian Blur and it will return as a line drawing!
