Hi there! I'm a teacher. I try to find as much time as I can to edit photos and make digital scrapbook albums. I'll admit it: I'm addicted. Holidays with my husband are my favorite subjects. I also spend lots of time managing my stash of digital papers, templates, png's etc. It's turning into a hobby in itself. Does anyone else suffer from this same tic? :)
I love browsing on PixelScrapper. Especially the stories behind photos or layouts are of interest to me.
I used Elif Sahin's template #1-01 for the Madness July 2014 challenge (Thanks Kaleena Farmer for getting me hooked!). In this LO I wanted to capture the mood of Venice in winter (the absolute best time to visit this wonderful city!) and to stay away from the cliche of gondolas and masks.
I adore mosaics, so the background is a picture of one of the geometric floor panels in St. Marks. The other pictures are from lesser known parts of the city. To the right is my husband in one of the smallest streets (which is saying something in Venice). The element was in the template, I gave it a stone effect in keeping with the earthy colors, the same reason why I turned our selfie to sepia. The leaves are Marisa's.
