I am a thirty-something years-old Brazilian, married for almost a decade, and with no human kids for now, but 5 cats istead. I was a teacher, but I gave up on teaching, profession that I chose to young to know what I was doing, and I´m looking for other possibilities. Right now I´m sharing time between my own business and helping at a no-kill cat shelter.
I have been digiscrapping and designing for a couple of years, but I still need to learn a lot. I´m also in geek/nerdy culture, and I love literature!
This year, I went to two CNY celebrations: The street celebration in the oriental district of my town, and one in a buddhist temple in a nearby city. The photos of the street celebration weren´t good, as there were too many people, it was too hot, I arrived late for the dragon dance (just saw the lion blessing the stores and eating lettuce that you can see in this LO) so I edited the best of them and put on a single LO. I´m glad to be a digiscrapper, first for the ability of cropping my pictures and second because I can cover places with undesirable people with elements. The technique I used on the first photo was learned at a free course at scraps-n-pieces - I recommend all their courses. The kit I used is called Mosaic of Memories, by Scrappiness Designs.
