About Me
I homeschooled all three of my kids from pre-K to high school graduation. I am currently staying home, recovering from a much needed knee replacement. We have a small six acre farm with goats, donkeys, chickens, ducks and geese, one handicapped cat, three "shelter" kittens, six guinea fowl, and four Great Pyrenees Livestock Guardian Dogs. Although I was very involved with "paper and glue" scrapping, my digital files originally were purely for greeting card making for our family and friends and for gifting. I have discovered that I have a digital hoarding addiction and am accumulating far more lovely items that I can use, but I am enjoying the guilty pleasure of collecting them nonetheless! I very recently purchased Photoshop Elements 2018 and am beginning to learn digital scrapping.

Digital CardDescription
I made this graduation card for a friend of our family. This young lady has completed a long year of difficult courses, earning her second college degree. We wish her all the best and continued success!
I love the work of Sunny Faith Rush, of Rush Ranch. You can see her work in the commons here: https://www.digitalscrapbook.com/sunny-faith/designs, and on her blog here: https://rushranch.blog/ and her work is all commercial use okay. She asks only that you do an act of kindness for a stranger, believing that our kindnesses have the power to change our world. Her writings on her blog inspire me to be more than I think I am. So, with these thoughts from Sunny on my mind, I chose one of her kits to make the card for Holly. Since she likes the beach, it was a natural choice to use Sunny’s “PS June2017 Nature Escape” kit. I layered several of Sunny's papers to make the background, some of them being made quite transparent. The font I used is French Vanilla Swirl from fonts101.com. The seashells are from Sunny’s kit, Melo Vrijhof’s “PS March2016 Unwind” mini kit, and WingedHeartOhio’s “The Victorian Seaside” kit. I use PrintMaster Platinum 8 software.
