About Me
A forty-something former nanny who loves scrapping in both digital and hands on fields... I was a CM consultant for years & when travelling I started using digital scrapbooking as a way to put meaning to my photos before sharing them with family & friends. Born & raised in Australia, I now live in the UK with my lovely partner. Although we have no children of our own there are 6 nieces & nephews & lots of other children in our lives so we feel very blessed. There is much to journal about & enhance in my world!

Digital Scrapbook LayoutDescription
When my Mother died in 2010 & again when I returned to Australia to help clear my belongings from the family home which was being sold, I copied lots of family photographs, some of them decades old... These photos of my Mum as a baby were so precious to have. The "Grandma's Kitchen" kits on DigitalScrapbook.com brought back memories of my own childhood with hours spent in the garden at my Grandparent's home... These photos just seemed to go perfectly with the theme! I love preserving the past for our future generations!

Thank you for your lovely comments, Barbara and Anita - I am very lucky to have some lovely photos spanning decades as my Grandfather had the same love of photography that I now have! I also love your quote, Anita - I am not just a keen scrapbooker, but I have researched my family history for 25 years, now, and it does put history into perspective if we can view our forebears as real people! ~M x
This is a beautiful layout, and so much more - because of the journaling you have done, you have indeed preserved the past! I read somewhere recently "I want my grandchildren to know who my grandparents were" - same for nieces and nephews!
I really love your page Meredith the photos are very good from 1935.This page is very well done.
