About Me
I am currently a stay-at-home grandma. I have spent the last 10 years partnered with my best friend of 15 years, and this coming August (2016) we will finally tie the knot! Boy, is he a patient man, or what?
Scrapping has become such an important and HUGE part of my life! I love the creative outlet it provides, as well as the wonderful people I meet and spend time with. I'm happy to be a part of the DigitalScrapbook.com community and look forward to getting to know everyone.

Journaling: Come this August I am finally going to stop making excuses and say, "I do" to my best friend and partner, Scott. It has been 10 years since he first asked me to become his wife. I think the time has come to warm up the feet and put on my wedding shoes. My daughter was pleased with my decision, and after talking it over, the plan is to have my son-in-law (who is one of the pastor's at their church) preside over the nuptials at their home in Napa, Ca (pictured in the photos).
What does all of this have to do with my New Year's resolutions you ask? Well, I am resolved to lose some weight before my wedding day arrives, as I would hate to look like an Oompa Loompa for the big event. But, even more important, I resolve to not back out at the last minute. We have been friends for 15 years and partners for 10 years. I cannot imagine my life without him.

Oh, I guess our situations are a bit different. Scott and I have lived together for the last 10 years. It's rare we fight, and really, he's already my husband, so no more excuses for me. I'm changing my name if it kills me, lol!
Mike and I get along perfectly in our own houses! We probably couldn't survive in the same house since we are SO DIFFERENT!
Wow, Poki! You are as bad as I am, lol. I'm such a commitment phobe! After all our years together you would think I would feel safe taking that final step. Now, the chocolate, that's another story... :)
I understand so well! (both the chocolate/weight loss need and the longtime relationship ... Mike and I have been dating for 18 years!)
