I am retired and living on a small farm in eastern Oregon. We have several horses, chickens, cats and dogs. I spend most of my time volunteering in my community, my way of contributing to a better world. I love to read, take photos, crochet, bead, and - I'll admit to loving crafts of all kinds. I am always learning about something. Continuing education is important to me. I usually enroll in a winter class, because my summers are pretty full. I love the sciences, specifically geology and biology. Digital scrapbooking gives me a creative outlet for playing with shapes and color. I spent the majority of my life in Alaska. When I retired, I moved to Oregon to take advantage of a milder climate and a convenient location for travel. I am a breast cancer survivor. I love God and family. I am married to a great guy, and we have a blended family of seven grown children and 14 grandchildren...
What a year 2012 was for me! I sold my Alaska house and bought an Oregon house - which is now under heavy remodel! Then I have two new grandchildren (Ben and Solon), lost 80 lbs, and I am retiring on Dec. 31, 2012 to live full-time in Oregon!
