capsule wardrobe

I've written a little in the past about my experiments with a capsule wardrobe and thought it was time for an update (see here for past posts). I guess this update starts as far back as last winter, which is further back than I realized! I was considering the state of my clothes. And the fact that I was still thinking about it a decent amount was an indication for me that things were not going as smoothly as I wanted.

I thought I'd do a little update on my capsule wardrobe experience. (For a little background info see here and here. For my winter capsule see here.) I'm definitely a convert to having a small and simple closet, filled only with clothes I actually wear.

I shared earlier in the season about my new capsule wardrobe, and I thought I'd take a small minute to let you know that it's been excellent and very cozy. I've long had the dilemma of living in houses that aren't very warm, but who wants to wear a coat in the house? The answer I've found is to to wear a sweater that's secretly a coat. Mine is made with alpaca and wool, and while bulky, it's not as bulky as a coat of similar warmness would be.

This is my last post about this idea, for a little while at least, I promise. I've got a little digi talk to share with you next week: I've had another obvious observation, so prepare yourselves. Also I have a new bundle coming out Monday. Yay!

You all are always super nice and indulge me whenever I feel like introducing a new topic here on the blog. So I'll give you the heads up right now that this entire post is about clothes. Specifically, my clothes. Less specifically, starting a capsule wardrobe. I'm hoping at least one of you will find this interesting!
