The Pixel Scrapper Team

Meet the amazing Pixel Scrapper team! We don't have an application page right now, but if you're interested in joining us for any of the positions below, we post call outs in the forums from time to time: so your best bet is to keep an eye on things, and be active in the community!

Fearless Leaders

Marisa first started Pixel Scrapper as a hobby site in 2010. In 2012 she got Jordan to come on board as webmaster and systems administrator.

  1. Hi There! I’m Marisa Lerin and you’ll see me around at Pixel Scrapper a lot. I started this site in 2010 soon after I discovered a new love in digital scrapbooking. Pixel Scrapper has gone through some significant changes since that time and it’s grown into this lovely community site you are seeing now. I am daily surprised by the turn of life’s events that has led me down this path. If you're new to the site, welcome! Here are a few tidbits about me that I hope will help you get to know me better!

I’m originally from Minnesota, USA, but spent a good chunk of my childhood living abroad (in Bolivia and Hong Kong). I returned to Minnesota to attend university, got married and then moved overseas again (Korea, then Jordan and 1 year of traveling). My designs are heavily influenced by these many nomadic years. I am currently back in the USA, now living in the great state of Oregon!

I have no official training for what I’m doing, since I decided very wisely (haha) to study physics in university. I am always learning new things about digital scrapbooking, and this community has been immensely helpful for that!

If I manage to stop digital scrapbooking you will probably find me watching TV, reading or baking. I also enjoy writing for the blog here at Pixel Scrapper where I talk about whatever happens to be catching my fancy at the moment.

  2. I'm married to Marisa Lerin. I don't do much digital scrapbooking myself, but I am passionate about creativity, visual design, technology, and the web. I also help to run this website!

Junior Webmaster

Thani is is our junior webmaster extraordinaire and customer support ninja!

  1. Hi! I'm Jordan's youngest brother. I grew up in North Africa and the Middle East and have spent much of my life popping from place to place. For the last few years I've been living in Northern California, and I recently got married to a woman that surpasses everything I could've dreamed for. I graduated from a smallish university in western Tennessee where I studied a little bit of everything but primarily English literature and also performed in many plays. I'm on the tech side of things on the site, but am all about creative endeavors in general! I like too many things, but some of my favorites are adventures and the simple pleasures of life, both enjoyed with people I love!

Designers

Our designers are super talented and super tight: friends who met right here at Pixel Scrapper! Click on their profile pictures to see their designs and learn more about them.

  1. My name is Jessica but you can call me Jessi or Jess if you prefer! I'm happily married to my best friend, whom I met online in 1996 & married in 1998. We both grew up and lived in the deep south but one day, not too long after Hurricane Katrina, we picked a spot on the map and found ourselves in Kentucky. We have called Kentucky home now for over 12 years. We purchased our nearly 200 year old home in 2011 and have been working on restoring it ever since. We have one child who left the nest, 3 children living at home, 1 outdoor dog, 2 outside cats and 5 indoor cats. During the school year I'm also busy homeschooling with my 12th grader, 3rd grader and preschooler.

Over the years my digital hobbies tend to become my job. My first digital hobby was web design, and later found myself as a web designer/web developer. I later took a break from that and as a hobby began digital scrapping. I got involved in making things for the blog trains several years back and that was the catalyst for where I am today. I still enjoy making and sharing freebies for a few blog trains as well as creating layouts when I get some time. Besides being passionate about history, I also love photography, genealogy, and archaeology.

  2. Hi, I’m Brooke Gazarek from Ohio, USA. I'm a graphic designer and I also design here at Pixel Scrapper. I use multiple types of medium, to create fun and exciting results.

I am also wife to a wonderful, loving, and supportive husband and mom to two energetic boys.

  3. I have been married for 40+ years, have 3 adult children, nine grandchildren, and two hairless (Chinese Crested) dogs.

Many of my designs can be mixed and matched so be sure to check out my previous uploads. If you love my designs, I am happy. If you don't love them, I am still happy because I am doing what I enjoy.

  4. I was born and raised in Central Ohio, USA. I am a mother of 4 wonderful children, 2 boys and 2 girls, ages 21, 18, 16, and 14. I am newly, Naani, to a grandson born 11.11.2019! I am also engaged to the absolute love of my life, Roy and he has 3 amazing boys, ages 12, 11, and 9, his youngest was actually in my preschool class when he was 3. I have an amazing loving blended family.

I graduated with an Associates degree in nutrition in May 2016. I am a Team Lead at a preschool. I started paper scrapbooking in 1999, but it didn't last long, I found it expensive and hard to manage the collection of supplies and managing layouts when using a dining table to create, so I stopped sometime in 2000. I picked up digital scrapbooking in 2006, on a forum on the parenting site I was visiting daily during my youngest's pregnancy. I also began designing professionally for Elemental Scraps and PickleBerryPop and a few other shops, but went on hiatus during a divorce and then again during my schooling. Hopefully I'm back for good! You may have seen me in other forums as rachelbrein, scarlettcharm or Rachel Martin.

When I am not making memories, preserving them, sleeping or working, Roy and I are avid TV/Film enthusiasts, we love binge watching TV shows and movies and discussing filmography and camera angles and shots, we are as nerdy as we sound. I LOVE the color green. I am the plant mom of 35. The entire family is a lover of the Harry Potter Universe and all things Marvel, we love all types of music, and I love designing scrapbooking kits and elements. We also love attending live events around town, including concerts, live bands, and theatre (big and small). The kids often keep us busy with musical instrument lessons, High School Theatre, Cheerleading etc. We have a large busy family and we love it.

I absolutely love scrapbooking. It serves 2 purposes for me. Creative outlet and preserving the random and poignant moments of my life.

  5. I'm a tea drinking scrap-addict that can often be seen holding a camera in my hands.

  6. Wife and mother of two, a graphic- and webdesigner by day and scrapaddict by night!

  7. Hello!
I am Elif, face behind Sahin Designs.I am a self-educated graphic designer who loves scrapbook and photography. My design history is fairly new yet I can't tell how much I love to learn new things each day. Pixel Scraper is my first place where I started designing, actually to be correct it is where I started scrapbooking! And I love this place, fellow designers and the PS community where everyone is so helpful and full of love!

  9. I came to digital scrapbooking by way of Project Life, which I did in physical form for the first year and then tried out doing digitally, and became hooked for life on digital documenting. I made my first designs to share as contributions for Pixel Scrapper blog trains, and am thrilled to now be part of the Pixel Scrapper design team! I create products for digital pocket scrapbooking and traditional scrapbooking, and want to support people however I can in creatively and easefully documenting their lives.

You can follow along with my Project Life adventures (and find past blog train goodies and other freebies) at my blog, Scrumptiously: http://eversoscrumptiously.wordpress.com/

  10. Hey there,

I'm Janet. I was born and raised in Minnesota. My favorite title is mommy to two of the smartest, most beautiful, spunky, sweet girls out there. When I'm not taking care of the little peanuts, I run my photography and design businesses.

I stumbled across Pixel Scrapper early on when it was first started (before it became the site that it is today). Ironically, I ended up messaging Marisa to see if I could help contribute. I wanted to find a way to give back. Little did I realize that years later I would end up being fortunate enough to join this fab team! :)

  11. I am a dedicated stay at home mom to a most awesome husband and 4 amazing children. My husband and I have been married for 20 years, and my children are my everything. My most favorite thing in the world to do apart from family time is design. I've been into scrapbooking forever, but started the digi world of scrapbooking for about 5 years now, and started designing about 2 years ago. I also love reading to, playing with, and homeschooling my little ones. We are in the military, so we have also traveled a lot, but I am happy to be finally settled here in Alabama and retiring this year!

Right now, designing birthday, and other party, invitations is a hobby and as a SAHM it gives me some me time. I get a ton of gratification out of creating something that I know the recipient loves.

  7. Hi, I'm Shannon. I live in a small, rural community north of Toronto, Ontario, Canada with my husband, David and our daughter, Keira. I discovered digital scrapbooking a few years ago, and although I don't have much time for it between work and sports, I'm totally hooked! I'm learning more and more from the Pixel Scrapper community and love sharing my projects and gaining inspiration from others'.

  9. Hello! My name is Lorien and I am a thirty-something years-old from São Paulo, Brazil, married for almost a decade, and proud kitten mom.
I got in contact with Pixel Scrapper before it was the amazing site you´re seeing, when I was looking for some assets for hybrid scrapbooking. I enjoyed it so much that I´m on this site since the closed beta. I was a beginner back then and I learned a lot here, and soon became forum moderator as a way to give a little back. It was because of Pixel Scrapper that I started designing too. It prooved a really useful skill for my small craft business.

  10. I enjoy digital scrapping. I actually do both digital and paper scrapping. Something I have been doing for years.
I enjoy researching my families past. Have made many contacts and connected with family members I did not even know existed. I have been compiling history, pictures and documents to date.
I am a designer, web designer, and a Professor at our local College.

    Happy scrapping.

  11. My name is Kayl, pronounced like the leafy green kale. I'm 27 and living in Sweden with my husband Fredrik. We had our first surviving little one, Alexander, born Feb 4th, 2018!

I'm still not sure I know what I'm doing when I create kits but I do enjoy trying and experimenting. :) Hopefully you enjoy my creations and can use them to scrap beautiful memories!

  12. Wife and mother of two, a graphic- and webdesigner by day and scrapaddict by night!

  13. A mini-biography: Born and raised in the upper Midwest, lived in both rural and urban areas, disabled at age 30, spent time in eastern Tennessee but now living in Arkansas. Divorced, but dating an incredible man that I hope to spend the next 50-60 years with. I have a son in his mid-20s who's a US Navy submariner and a new daughter-in-law as of 2019.

I've been collecting scrap freebies for a while, making layouts for my photography scrapbook and more recently a young niece. I tend to be sort of seasonal with my interests, as photography in the cold aggravates fibromyalgia, and too much sunlight triggers lupus flareups--so I scrap a lot in summer and winter and enjoy spring and fall outdoors, often with a camera in hand. If I'm not shooting photos, training my mobility dog, or designing (mostly commercial-use items for my shop), I'm probably either watching anime or playing Steam games or one of several tabletop RPGs with my gaming group.

Upload Helpers

These ladies are the super heroes of Pixel Scrapper! Since day one, we've had a dream of free daily download credits, and making all our designs available for individual download; well, these upload helpers are the ones who make that dream possible!

  7. I love photography and have an addiction to photoshop! I have extensive knowledge of photoshop and teach workshops from my home in both photography and photoshop editing.

We enjoy traveling to see the beauty in the world, and it gives us the opportunity to experience new cultures and people. My ultimate wish would be to visit every country on this glorious earth!
I'm thankful and grateful for all of the people in my life, and for the experiences I've had.

  1. I am a single mom to an amazing 14-year-old son. He keeps me on my toes and active. We live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest along with our fur baby, Phoebe the kitty. I have been digiscrapping for 14 years and love it. I have finally accepted the fact that I am a digiscrap addict and I am ok with that. No 12-step program for me as I am quite happy in my active addiction. I volunteer at a small, amazingly wonderful private school where I help run the AR (Accelerated Reading) Program, oversee the libraries and work one-on-one with children who have Autism, Down Syndrome, neuromotor deficits, and those who just need a little extra assistance. I also participate in quite a bit of community service. Service to others is my passion.

I am a collector of Funko Pop! Vinyls; I am a F.R.I.E.N.D.S. fanatic (PIVOT!); I love love love Nikki Sixx (and even have him in Pop! form); lemonade runs through my veins, not blood; strawberry mochi and peaches with chia seeds are my favorite snacks; VW buggies (old & new) make me smile and I have owned three, my first car was a '69 Bug, my second car was a '72 Super Beetle, and I now own an '03 convertible New Beetle; Pacific Northwest beaches are my own private heaven; vintage Shasta trailers (with the wings) make my heart dance (and I intend to own and refurbish one soon); and ugly (which is subjective, of course), "naked" animals make me happy (naked mole rates, skinny pigs, sphynx cats, Chinese crested dogs, featherless fowl...)

My life is a great big ball of controlled chaos and I wouldn't want it any other way!

  2. I teach and train folks on how to follow their passion and start their own business. I am a business startup coach, entrepreneur, that loves photography, photo editing, and scrapping. However, I am new to digital scrapping.

  3. I have always been playing around with photos and layouts from the time I got my first digital camera in the 1990s. My children (all grown now) remember me making photo pages and books from summer vacation pictures when they were very young. I spent most of my life (first half-century) in Saskatchewan Canada but now live and work in the South Pacific.

  4. I am from Georgia and currently live in a town that is just minutes away from the beaches of Florida and the Okefenokee Swamp. My hobbies include sewing, crafts and genealogy. I am a Nana of 9 and the resident Treat Lady to 4 Dogs and 2 Chickens.

  5. Mixed media artist. Photographer. Digital and hybrid scrapbooker.

  6. I have a been a scrapbooker for over 20 years. I started out with all the physical supplies and still have a decent stash in the basement but then switched over to digital when that became the next big "thing." I love the versatility of digital. I have 4 children, a wonderful husband, 1 grandson and 2 dogs.

  7. i love scraps and foto's

  8. I'm from France. Digiscrapping since 2013. Mom of 3, married in 1997. Love books, photographs, bike, piano, classic music, tea, coffe and so…
    No pets.

  9. Hi! I'm 45 years old and live in Minnesota, USA. I really love scrapbooking. I scrap both with paper and digitally and love them equally. I work as a Decorative Artist which basically is painting murals & other pieces on people's walls. It's a great creative outlet and I can set my own hours which is really nice! I just found this site, and fell in love with the community feeling of it (nevermind the great kits)!

  10. I'm a 55-year-old, wife of Freddy for 33 years, mother of two daughters, Lacy-25 (Shawn-27), and USMC LCpl Anne-22, Grammy to Kolten Cooper-5, Caddie-2, and Hunter-2mos, fur-mommy to Harley-1 our Chug (Chihuahua-Pug), MOTO-Marine Mom, KIA-driving, book-reading, music-collecting, computer-surfing, wine-drinking, photo-snappin', SCRAPBOOKING DIVA! Crazy!
I've just started "designing" some digi-scrap items, mainly for the PS Blog Trains. I'm thrilled that so many people give me such wonderful kudos for my pieces even though I will never compare to some of the amazing designers here. Scrapbooking is creative outlet and secret place of sanity. My major scrapping accomplishments include our Grandson Kolten's First Year Album (126 pages.....first grandchild, yeah I went overboard!). I just finished our granddaughter Caddie's ABC Album (since she didn't live with us, I was able to stay more realistic about this one). Memory albums for my Gram and my Dad. Honor albums for my Hubby and my Mom. I am now working, somewhat sporadically on my own All About Me Album, while continuing to create pages for our family annual album.
If you don't know enough about me by now, you never will............ Oh yeah, I tend to be sarcastic.........
My occupation doesn't even begin to describe what I do............SPED Para, MA Billing Specialist, AT Specialist, MTAS Administrator, SPED ECSE Clerk.

  11. I'm a freelance editor, writer and photographer. I picked up cardmaking as an art hobby more than 25 years ago. That led to scrapbooking, but really took off when digital scrapbooking software started popping up on the market. Thanks to PixelScrapper, I have honed my design skills and do some small design jobs for hire, along with my regular editing and writing. I live in the beautiful state of Montana where I work from home and volunteer for a local non-profit called the Dylan Steigers Concussion Project. I also teach water aerobics at our local Women's Club. (Otherwise, I might sit on the couch all day designing!). Besides a passion for photography, I love sports, flyfishing, cardmaking, gardening, and walking. My goal is to try to learn a new technique or enhance existing ones every month so I can give back to this wonderful community of scrapbookers through the PS blog trains.

  12. I am a 30 something mother, daughter, art teacher, artist, and yoga lover. I also run a Teachers Pay Teachers store and an Etsy Shop that sells digital party printables. I have two little boys.

  13. Mom of three adult children and Nana to one awesome grandson and one beautiful granddauther. Full-time wife, mom, Nana, student , Program Specialist and crafter. Is there enough time in the day for all of that? Of course, it's all about priorities.

  14. www.pixelscrapper.com/tonje-gram/gallery

Hi.. my name is Tonje, 43 years old.. and I`ve been scrapping for about 10 years.
My style is mostly contemporary, clean, airy, but I've been dabbling with blending and are curious about Art Journal.
Too much 3D and fantasy style doesn't fit me. But I love trying out new things.. and often join challenges.

My native language is Norwegian and I live in.. Norway!
Yes, that tiny country in north.. with Fjords and all..
To compensate for being such a tiny country.. we've got high mountains..
but they doesn`t do much for me.. since I live by the coast..
In a tiny city called Sandefjord.. oh yeah it`s a Fjord here also.
We are about 2 hours, by car, south-west of the capital Oslo.

Please ignore my curly sentences (?) English is my second language.
The spellchecker brightens up my text with red lines..
    - but it doesn't help me with building sentences.

I just got myself a new PC, been saving for a year.. it`s awesome..
4 TB.. yes.. Terra Bytes.. Hard Disk.
Besides bragging about my new PC.. I love Sudoku, Photography (of course)..
I knit while watching films.. I read most genre except horror.. mostly I prefer Historical drama.
Oooh.. and 80% Dark Chocolate.. Addicted..
On my new shiny PC I`ve got tons of pictures taken in Peru,
and photos of our Garden (Hundreds of different flowers/plants/trees), our boat at sea..
+ family, friends, food, daytrips.. just to mention a few themes..
Got Photoshop CS3 and CS6 (but prefer CS3).

I have two sons.. but only one living at home (the oldest moved out..)
Felix, my youngest.. is so creative and often hangs over my back when I am scrapping
and comes with ideas and suggestions. You`ll see I make a scrapper out of him.
He is a bit socially awkward and has autism.. so we spend a lot of time together.. Just him and me.
Together we often go on trips and photograph.. we both have decent cameras
and it is a activity that doesn't require much social skills.
Lots of the pictures I scrap is taken by him..
and it makes him so proud to see pretty pages with his pics.

  15. I am a stay at home Mum to one little girl and a craft addict, I don't feel right if I don't get my crafting fix!I have always crafted in some form or another and tried my hand at all sort including glass painting, jewellery making, sewing, crochet, card making and scrapbooking. I discovered scrapbooking about 10 years ago and got hooked. After years of disregarding digital scrapping I had a sudden conversion in November 2013 and instantly became addicted. Now I can't believe I was so anti it before! As a full time Mum digital scrapping fits so much better into my life and budget at the moment but I will never give up all my lovely stash! I try to make digital layouts in the same style as I would paper ones and make then look as "real" as possible by only using elements which would work on a paper layout, adding shadows and using "glow" to recreate the inking I always add to my paper layouts! I look forward to exploring this new world and having fun here at PS.

At 18 months after I started on this digital adventure I am still loving it and have been accepted on to several Creative Teams, including here at PS! The next step is to try designing!

  16. I am Bina and I love scrapbooking and photography. And I am forever grateful to Elif who introduced me to Pixel Scrapper where everyone is so helpful and lovely.

Apart from everything crafty, I love fishing and the sea, the outdoors, spending time with family and friends. I grew up at the Sunshine Coast in Queensland under a Don't Mess With Texas basecap.

  17. Hi! I am Meg (you may have seen me around as TravelScrapSleepRepeat). I love to travel and scrap in equal proportions, so it is no surprise that I make a whole lot of travel pages. I rely heavily on digital products to make physical pocket pages....so I guess that makes me hybrid??

  18. I'm mom to two adult children, two cats and crazy dog named Obi-Wan. I'm a tax accountant living in sunny Central Florida. During the evenings, you'll find me watching movies, crime dramas or HGTV while reading, scrapbooking or perusing social media.

  19. A SAHM, Homeschool teacher with a passion to craft anything and everything! Live on the Eastern Shore of MD with my pastor husband, two children, and two fur babies!

  20. Hey Guys! I'm Dani! I'm the creator of Savor Your Story. I’m a doctor-wife, a toddler-mom, an oldest daughter and a sister who loves her siblings. I'm a modern-memory keeper who loves a good story.

I am passionate about helping busy families record the sometimes messy, often overlooked, beautifully simple moments that tell life’s story.

  21. Hey scrappy friends! I live in MN with my husband and 4 kids. I am an AppScrappers! I enjoy capturing recording and sharing our memories.

  22. I started the crafting journey with my grandmother who taught me to sew. As life has evolved so has my crafting. A few years ago I began bible journaling and conducting workshops locally. As my passion and love for journaling evolved so did my passion for paper crafting which has lead me to making numerous crafty paper projects such as pocket letters, flip books, and junk journals. A mother of 2 girls bought of which are married and a grandmother of one special 3 year old.

  23. Colour, light and texture... they make my world go 'round! Digital Production Manager by day, crazy mad scientist-like artist by night, not creating is like holding my breath! From old school scrapping and digital to sewing a dainty dress and repurposing an old man jacket into a hat, I'm always busy making, making making!

  24. I'm a big fan of Project Life, layouts, chips and sun! :)

  25. I'm a stay at home mom of 2, a boy 15 yrs old and a girl that is 13 (going on 21)! You can probably find me scrapping, blogging, designing, reading ebooks & watching design/scrapping tutorials! I admit I am a digi addict & I am on the pc way longer than I should be! Luckily the rest of my family is as well, we have just about every digital gadget known to man! I love being a part of Pixel Scrapper and am very happy I found Pixel Scrapper in the first place!

  26. I love to read and travel (camping and cruising) and digi scrap about our travels.

  27. Hi all! My name is Jen and I am a hybrid crafter. I love to travel, read and create in my spare time.

Currently I call New Hampshire my home but have lived all over the US. I've been in the medical field for over 10 years and couldn't imagine doing anything else.

I am proud to part of the 2020 Sahin Designs Creative Teams.

    Happy scrapping :)

  28. 04/23/2015: time for an update. Retired for almost a year, I love to spend more time with my grandchildren now with 4 boys and 1 girl. Unfortunately we don't see the baby girl very often as they live a bit too far to make it convenient for regular visits. I stay updated via Facebook and most of the photos of her come from there so the quality is a bit undesirable. Still loving scrapping and hoping to rediscover my other hobby, stamping. Pixelscrapper is a great place to hang out!

  30. I have always loved to craft and create. I started stamping about 10 years ago and eventually got into scrapping both layouts and pockets. My "go to" layout size is 6x8 inch and I'm 99% hybrid. :)

  31. Greetings! I am from Chapel Hill, NC (USA) and have recently become completely addicted to anything and everything remotely associated with digital scrapbooking. I have no children of my own (unless you count the 2 furry creatures that share my house and beg for food), but I thoroughly spoil any tiny humans I can get my hands on. I have been tagging and designing web pages for tournaments in gaming leagues for several years, but I am relatively new to scrapbooking. I'm branching out and trying my hand at creating an entry for the blog train soon, so you'll be hearing a lot more from me in the future! One question....how do you STOP once you've started creating papers?...I mean, first day of designing and I look up from my creative coma to find that I've made 60!!!!

  32. I've been scrapping for 2 years, my current projects include:
    - physical project life 6x8
    - hybrid lockdown journal to document the corona virus pandemic A5
    - digital layouts (usually 12x12)
    - trying to forge a journaling habit in Day One app

I usually scrap on an iPad now using Affinity Designer, Procreate, Pic Tap Go (photo editing), the Project Life app, and sometimes Over. At some point I’d like to try designing some items myself to add in to the blog trains and commons.

I graduated with a degree in Agriculture last year, this year I’m working for my college Students’ Union, and next year I’ll be starting a PhD at the Roslin Institute. I live in Edinburgh with Andy (my OH), and Florian (7 years old). I also like to sew.

  33. Mom of two boys. Home baker. Manila, PH.

Few of the things I love: Baking. Memory Keeping. Photography. The Beach. Coffee. Sunrise. My Happy Planner. documenting memories. All things pink and green!

  35. I'm a retired dog groomer who now fosters dogs and has a small pack of adopted rescues, 6 girls, the lights of my life! I started scrapbooking in 2004 and primarily use Scrapbook Max. I LOVE scrapbook max, it is SO easy to create with. I have also used others. I live in Orlando FL and am a stationary full timer, which means I live year round in a RV resort, but do not travel, yet. The Girls (my dogs) and I love it!!!! It is like being on vacation all the time and it is very relaxing and peaceful. I'm just getting back into my scrapping now after a major computer crash and some other things. So super happy to be here!! My personal gallery https://variamoon.smugmug.com/

  36. I'm Melanie, 39, from right outside Boston, Ma. I have been married to Rob for 15 years. We have 2 girls Olivia, 16, and Layla, 13. We also have 2 dogs a 9 year old puggle, Beau and our newest member is Mika a 7 month old papillon. We just bought our 1st home, an old farmhouse built circa 1790! We are doing all the renovations ourselves(my hubby is a contractor) and having a blast! We are die hard New England Patriots fans who don't pronounce our "R's" and use the word "wicked" as an adjective, so basically the stereotypical Bostonian. I'm a lover of all things crafty, obsessed with most anything horror related and been to Disney World more than 11 times! Graphic design intrigues me and I've learned most of everything I know from Google. I am proud to say I've never owned an iPhone, I am a true Android snob. I have 3 large containers of paper scrapbooking products, yet I have never completed even 1 paper page. While googling for paper scrapbooking ideas I came across digital scrapping and never tried to make a paper page again ( to be fair I have used the paper scrapping stuff for other things).

  37. I'm Anne, a french girl who'v emoved to Switzerland almost 16 years ago.
I've scrapped since 2009 and my 4 boys are the main subject of my layouts

  38. I love digital scrapbooking and am a member of several Creative Teams, including Marisa Lerin's. I am from the Philippines and go by the name lawyerlyn in the digiworld.

  39. Hi from sunny Townsville, Australia!
Ive been scrapbooking since 2007. I started as a traditional scrapper but my style has evolved greatly since those early days. I didn't know anyone else who crafted until I found creative memories. While I loved the community I was a part of it never felt comfortable in that 'style'. I felt limited and eventually gave it away.
After the birth of my second child I felt drawn to the scrapping world again and quickly found it had changed. I dabbled with pocket scrapping then digital scrapping. I have since combined the two to make it my own.
I love the Pixel Scrapper. It has not only been an amazing resource (I always seem to be able to find that last little finishing touches here) but it has become a platform for me to share and be inspired by other amazing artists. Now that we also encompass hybrid scrappers I truly feel a part of this amazing community.

  40. Mama bear to 3 kiddos, photographer and crafter. Member of the Sahin Designs CT and Designed by Soco CT

  41. Wife and Mom living in Washington State, USA. Working as an educational para in the special needs department of the local school district. Have a passion for all to know and feel the love of Jesus in my words and actions. Love to play around with photography, to create digital graphics, to scrapbook and to make cards. Blessed to be where I am, with whom I am, and who I am.

  42. Retired school music teacher - landscape photographer! Love to scrap - daily! I'm on Creative Teams for several designers, make lots of Designer and personal freebies every month!

  43. Hi everyone! I'm Sarah and I live in New Jersey. I'm a mom of three crazy (but pretty cute!) humans, an adorable rescue mutt named Lola, and a gray lop-eared bunny named Charlotte. If that wasn't enough, I am also a teacher by day, working with students who struggle to read and I own a tiny Etsy shop by night so for me, scrapping is my way to take a little "me time." I started with paper scrapping when my daughter was first born (13 years ago!) and slowly made my way to digital scrapbooking the more and more my husband complained about all the scrapbooking supplies laying around. smiley In all honesty, I love tech and so the move to Photoshop was a natural one for me. You can catch me on IG at @scrappy.sarah!

  44. My experience in the digital graphics industry began a few years ago (2007 or so – does that count?), when I purchased a DSLR camera (Nikon D70s), mostly to capture my growing family and children as they participated in sports. I found myself tweaking the photos and loving it! Then I discovered digital scrapbooking (where I was previously using paper), which progressed into digital design when I couldn't find items I wanted! I really enjoy learning new techniques and designing definitely keeps me on my toes!

IRL (in real life), I provide IT support. I have previously been an instructor and trainer as well. I do love computers and most things technical and am always up for a good, technical challenge!

I have been married to my loving husband for 10 years and we have 3 children – ages 10, 17 and 19. Our family has one cat (Kitty), one dog (Hank) and one rabbit (Reese).

  45. I am a not-so-newbie to digital scrapbooking, but was hooked as soon as I started playing around with kits, fonts, and photos. I started taking photos when my oldest turned one year old, then started scrapbooking about a year after that. I now have three spunky little kids (two boys and a sweet little Sparkleheart) that keep me busy, and when I'm not tending to them, I'm chilling with my feet up on my computer or watching some wonderful television programs with the husband!!

  46. Hi, I'm Diana, 49 years old, living in Belgium, 31 years married and mother of 2 sons
I work in home care 20 hours a week and also a lot of hobbies including photography and digital scrapbooking.

  47. I Hi! I'm Amberleigh - 30-something, married, mom of 1. Global Trade professional by day and documenter by...well, all the time really.

I've been an avid journaler since the 4th grade when my mom gave me my first diary for Christmas. I'll never forget it - it was a pink abstract floral-patterned hardbound book with a gold lock and key. She had inscribed in the front cover - "my dearest Amberleigh - this will be first and last time I open this cover. Pour all of your thoughts and dreams into these pages. All my love - Mom". I was hooked. Something about putting pen to paper was and is therapeutic to me. In the 4th grade my inscribing was 50% boys, 40% friends, and 10% love of my pet gerbil, Smokey.

Twenty-some-odd-years later I find myself reflecting on my documenting journey. I have kept diaries, planners, to-do and to-done lists, journals of varying kinds, and I have loved it all. Recently, with the birth of my first born, I have felt compelled to document with words AND photos. The analyst in me immediately began researching. I took to Pinterest and YouTube and very quickly found the modern memory keeping community. It was perfect - photos and journaling working together creating a beautiful personal history.

My husband bought me my first 12x12 album and all the papers for my birthday and I began right away. A short 8-months later I completed my first December Daily project. I love it!

So, I am continuing the journey. I have made the choice to go digital in 2019, mostly because we live in a modest home tight on space so, it seems practical to work on digital pages through the year and have them bound into a photo book.

Scrapping has become such an important and HUGE part of my life! I love the creative outlet it provides, as well as the wonderful people I meet and spend time with. I'm happy to be a part of the Pixel Scrapper community and look forward to getting to know everyone.

  56. Mother of 3, home manager, and junk journal artist.

Community Designers

Meet our generous and talented community designers working in the Pixel Scrapper Commons!

The Pixel Scrapper Commons is an area where community members of all levels can upload and share designs they create, while getting feedback and progressing as designers.

  1. I'm digital scrapbook designer. As an artistic soul I love creating beautiful designs allowing me to express myself. I share my passion for creation at Sunshine Inspired Designs. My adventure with digital scrapbooking started while my husband and I decided to travel indefinitely and traditional scrapbooking wasn't an option any more. I fell in love with it so much that I decided to create my own kits and share them with everyone who loves scrapbooking as much as I do.

I'm also passionate about animals and photography, so it only seemed natural to start photographing them! In addition to my work as a photographer, I hold a degree in Environmental Biology from Gdansk University, Poland. I’ve worked with many amazing animals throughout my years as an animal care giver, pet sitter, volunteer, and trainer.

  2. When I am not at work, I avoid housework by reading, scrapbooking or baking. I am one belt shy from getting my black belt in Taekwondo but a recent knee injury has delayed that goal. I went back to school when my youngest was 4 and became a dentist. Both kids are in college now and my hubby and I are enjoying the empty nest.

  3. I wrote so little about myself the first time so am here again to rectify that. I am 60yr old nanna of 9 grand kids from my 3 children, who are the light of my life :) I used to take photography of weddings, children pets etc but did it for the price of film etc as in the day if you loved photography it was so expensive... it kept my hobby going and kept me busy and I got popular(who knew!). When the digital cameras came about I bought my first SLR, the weddings etc kept going but I added wildlife to that and I LOVED going to the Australian bush for as long as possible to get down n dirty with the wild critters... its my element. Digital cameras a digital art on a computer seems to go hand in hand.... so, here I am :)

  4. Married. No children, sadly. Retired a few years ago as a server administrator from a top 20 university. Email was my specialty from the first time ever implementation. Lots of changes since those early days! My health took a dramatic change the last year before I retired.
Several extremely painful health issues and unable to take tylenol/nsaids for pain. (You have no idea what a wonder drug a simple aspirin is until you can't take it.) Trying to distract myself from my chronic pain I discovered digital scrapbooking. WOO! WOO! I LOVE making elements/papers. I'm totally pain free when I am zoned into making stuff, usually on my iPad since I can't sit long at a computer. I have tons of stuff that I've made and when health allows I clean it up and post here. Your kind comments are the frosting on my cake!

  5. I'm a former career girl, now stay-at-home mom of 3, 4 if you count my fur baby, a pug. I love digital scrabooking, photography, travel, running, and anything outdoors.

  6. I am from Georgia and currently live in a town that is just minutes away from the beaches of Florida and the Okefenokee Swamp. My hobbies include sewing, crafts and genealogy. I am a Nana of 9 and the resident Treat Lady to 4 Dogs and 2 Chickens.

  7. Hi, my name is Cathy I am a mum of two grown children and live in the UK. I started traditional scrapbooking about 10 years ago and moved over to digital scrapbooking soon after. I am a business owner but love to design digital kits for sale in my spare time. I am also a digital artist and love to create works of fantasy. I am a little addicted to creating repeating patterns it is one of my favorite things to do. I am delighted to be here on Pixel Scrapper and to be able to give a little something back and share with you some of my personal use creations.

  8. I love all things paper and designing for scrapbooking and other digital paper crafts. I have worked in several creative industries along with a number of years creating as a freelance craft designer. Armed with a library of images, my trusty iMac, and a stash of craft goodies that I have collected over the years, I finally have time to play!

  9. I have been scrapping for about 15 years and digital scrapping for about 10 years. I love designing kits and printables. I am a stay at home wife, mom to 4 grown children and grandma to 8. My other hobbies include cooking and being on the computer.

  10. I am 41 yr old mother of 5 and 1 granddaughter. I have been using Paint Shop Pro and Animation Shop for about 19 years. I am trying to learn how to make my own kits, which is how I came across this site. I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge. Thank you!!

  11. For most of my life I have had a passion for genealogy, as well as a love of making art. When scrapbooking first became popular, it became obvious that I needed to be making heritage albums! When I discovered digital scrapbooking, I could finally afford to make my family history book ambitions come true. I love to tell the stories of my family, illustrate them with digital scrapbooking, and publish them to photo books for my family members.

  12. I'm a primitive and colonial style crafter, luv working with graphics and learning new things. And I luv to share what I create! I luv my family & friends and look forward to meeting new ones.

  13. I a mum of 2.I have just started to digital scrapbooking.

  14. Hi. My name is Tina and I'm a digi scrapping addict! I started paper scrapping back in 2002 when my youngest son was 2 years old. I discovered digi scrapbooking in 2006 and never looked back. I live in Florida with my DH and our 2 boys and lots of animals!

  15. I love photography, digital memory keeping and graphic design. I'm so enjoying this season of life being able to spend time with my hubby, kids and grandkids.

  16. I am an English psychologist and social worker, recently retired. In my professional life I had a special interest in people with autistic spectrum disorders.
I love patterns. I make a lot of kaleidoscopes with Corel PaintShopPro, which can also be tiled to make scrapbooking papers. I also make scrapbooking papers and elements from anything I find.

  17. Hi! My name is Renee Clark. I am a wife to a wonderful husband, and mom of 3 kids. My oldest is 15 and in 10th grade. My twins are 13 and are in 8th grade. We have an adorable, very large Goldendoodle named Max.

A local friend, Lisel Rice, introduced me to Pixelscrapper. That is how I landed here.

It has been quite a few years since I have done any kind scrapbooking. I'm excited to pick up digital scrapbooking. I served as a Design Team member for a couple of paper scrapbook companies before the crafting industry hit a low. Both of those companies went out of business, I lost my online community of scrappy friends, and with that, I also lost my mojo and stopped scrapbooking.

I worked at The Boeing Company for 10 years as a 2D and 3D artist developing Computer Based Training and that is where I picked up my initial Photoshop skills. Then I went to Microsoft and worked as a 3D artist on both of Microsoft's PC-based games Flight Sim 2001 and Combat Flight Sim 3. Seven days before my first kid was born I resigned from my career. It has been almost 16 years since I have been in the corporate world.

Today I own a small art studio in my local area. My studio is new and I'm trying to build it from scratch. It is called "CREATE Courageously" and I teach mixed media art (I LOVE using Super Heavy Gesso and Modeling Paste to create heavily textured designs). While that is where my heart is, I believe I will find some relaxing moments here, while scrapping digitally.

I look forward to meeting everyone here in the forums.

  18. I provide digital support for online businesses and that frequently includes quite a bit of design work.
For fun, I design digital planner resources and other fun bits of prettiness while managing three cats who think they should actively participate in all computer and craft work.
I also have a box of photos that I should turn into scrapbooks, but so far, all I've managed is a few awkward spreads. I think I have a bit to more to learn in the digital scrapbooking area...

  19. Completely in love with graphic art! Since last year I have enjoyed the wonderful universe Scrapbook!

  20. hi i love psp and taging as well as scrapbooking reading doing crafts old movies and tv shows have 4 grown kids 9 grands and 2 great grand glad to be here.joyce

  21. Hi there! I'm Marjan (in English that would be Mar-i-an) and I'm from the Netherlands. I have one son, Dennis, he's 7 years old and will be 8 in January '19. I live in a city in the north of Holland, called Groningen with my family of 3. In my daytime job I'm a careworker for 3/4 days a week and I love it.

Apart from digiscrapping I have many other hobby's. I love drawing and painting (watercolour, acrylics, ink etc. but also digitally), reading, going outdoors, photography, (binge)watching my favorite movies and shows and I couldn't do without music and going to concerts and festivals.

I started digital scrapbooking way back in 2008/2009 and not long after that I started designing with Photoshop and PSP. Since then I've learned a lot about digiscrapping and creating my own layouts, albums and kits. I've had many breaks from scrapping, but somehow I always find my way back.

  22. I'm married to my best friend, and I am mom to 1 son and 1 daughter, and 1 step-daughter. All are grown so now I'm rawkin the Grandma scene. I have 3 beautiful granddaughters and 1 handsome lil grandson ages 15, 5, 2, and 5mths. I started Digital Scrapbooking approx 12 years ago, and was hooked instantly but shortly after I wanted to try designing I found it to be more fun and challenging, I opened my first blog and gave away everything that I made. The pirates found my blog and took over so I shut it down and quit for a while. During that time I found 3d and taught myself some of it (there's alot to learn). Now I'm back to doing Digital Scrapbooking as well as 3d.

  23. Hi - I'm Karry and I live in Montana. I have done traditional scrapbooks for some time and have only recently started scrapping digitally. I initially joined Pixelscrapper for the papers because I thought there were so many nice collections. I would print them out and use them in my own layouts or in mini-albums that I like to make. I've been using Photoshop for awhile but mainly just for photo editing. I have learned so much from the tutorials on this site and that is actually what started me scrapping digitally...so, THANKS PIXELSCRAPPER. I have a 8 year old boy and it seems now I am scrapping more things since I can do it on the computer which is great for our family in the long run. To me doing layouts with children couldn't be any more fun! I LOVE IT!

  24. I love photography and precisely nature photos , with a preference for the dragonflies..so came I to scrapbooking.I live in Belgium.

On the photo you can see my two helpers by scraboolking: Max the parrot ans Saskia, the yougest dog

  25. Blogger. Content Creator. Digital Influencer. Mom and grandma. Cat and dog mom.

  26. Used to be a digiscrap designer a few years ago and thought I would dabble again. I'm also a genealogist, historian, and computer tech.

  27. I am married to my wonderful DH, Chad, and we have 1 furbaby, a Beagle named Lucy. In May 2019 we decided to give up the "normal" life to live a life of adventure. Since then, we have slowly started evolving into full-time RV living. I am a nurse and we will travel the US, one 13-week contract at a time.

I began paper scrapbooking in 2000. That is also the time I started taking pictures of others. In 2006, I got my first digital camera and self-educating myself on editing. That is when I discovered photoshop which lead to the concept of digital scrapbooking. It was a slow transition, but eventually, I sold all of my paper scrapping items (a whole room full) to a young mother and her daughter because they wanted to find a hobby that they could do together. I am a softy- gave them over $1500 worth of "stuff" for $350. It filled my heart to see them go throught the items, spouting out ideas of how they could use them. I eventually got into dabbling in designing items and dream of desinging to a company eventually.

Professionally, I am a Registered Nurse. I also have my own Photography business. In my spare time, I am a Volunteer Firefighter/First Responder.

  28. My interest in digital scrapbooking actually started with paper crafting. I used to make cards and 3D items with my cutting machine, but I only did paper scrapbook layouts occasionally as they were very time-consuming. Once I encountered Photoshop Elements and began learning how to scrapbook digitally I was amazed at how fast I could get things done! Soon I started wondering how to make the beautiful elements and papers I was purchasing, and my venture into designing began. I spend more time designing than scrapbooking now, as my four children are almost grown and not interested in having their photos taken!

  29. Many moons ago, during the December frenzy, a clown met a man disguised as one and they both fell for each other. Little did they know a few months later they'd be having a little baby (that's me).
The clown love didn't last too long, but I was still raised as one. Actually, on the first sonogram, I made my first joke ever. Made my parents think I was a little boy... for months. First thing the doctor said when I was born was "It's a little boy with no penis". That was my first minute of life. We indeed are destined for greatness or not. I think I was.

Oh, and I've been scrapbooking for about a minute. I'm a real newbie, but I like to think I'm learning things as I go.

  30. I am 28 and live in Dunedin, NZ with my hubby, our son Riley, born in March 2010, and another boy on the way, due July 30. Am back into the work force after many years as a stay at home mum and I am loving the extra cash. Started digi scrapping when my boy was only weeks old and still love it. My current favourite is pocket scrapping and I have been printing and collecting journal cards, ready to go :)

  31. Hello everyone
I am Sharon (aka Shaz515) I am 56 years old and live in beautiful Western Australia on a lovely little 4 acre property in a sweet little country town. I am married with 3 adult children and 3 adult step-children, and 16 gorgeous grandchildren aged from 6 months to 17 years old. I started paper scrapping in 2006, but then discovered digiscrapping 5 years ago and have been in love with it ever since

  32. Hi! I'm Lori and live in Maine, where I'm a mom to 3 boys, age 20, 17 and 16 and an 11 year old black lab named Sadie. I have been teaching 6th grade for almost 30 years.... wow! (Just typing that makes me sound crazy lol!) I also work part time at a local gym. I have been digiscrapping for a little more than 10 years now and absolutely love it. I still dabble a bit in paper scrapping, mostly making cards... just can't quite bring myself to give up all of those supplies that I spent years accumulating, even though I never used half of them. ;) Of course, I will never use all the digi stuff I've got either... but at least it doesn't take up much space to store! :)

  33. Hello, I am so happy to bring you my PU products. I hope that you get much enjoyment out of them as I did in creating them.

I want to thank everyone who contributes on a daily basis to this wonderful website that Marisa and Jordan so cleverly designed. Their brilliance, love and passion for the craft brings so much joy to so many people. I'm glad that I can now be a part of this incredible journey.

    Thank you.

  34. Digi scrapper and designer since 2008, living in France with partner and 2 sons.

  35. Hi.
I live in Denmark and in my spare time i play around in my Paint Shop Pro X8, sewing and taking care of my horses.
I'm married to a wonderful man and my 2 children have their own families now. (And i'm a grandma now)
I started using PSP about 10 years ago.
    Thanks for having me here

  36. Hi, I'm LaDonna! I have no formal training and all of my experience has been self taught. I have always been passionate about anything/everything involving art, creativity, and expression from writing to photography and scrapbooking, and graphic design. I enjoy Photoshop Elements 15. I'm not an expert. Not a beginner. I'm somewhere in between and continually learning something new daily. I use other programs as well as they all have different attributes that I like for different projects. I use Craft Artist 2 Pro as well as Affinity Designer. I am committed to eventually mastering Photoshop Illustrator!

  37. New to scrapbooking, looking for inspiration.

  38. I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada with my husband and our daughter. I homeschool and in my spare time I like blogging, quilting and graphic design.

  39. Hello! I am a single mom, as my hubby was killed. I am the mother of 2 very special autistic children (a daughter who is 14 and a son who is 9), who are my world! Their strength against the adversity they face in their lives every single day, just trying to do simple things we often take for granted, warms my heart and fills my soul. They are the best part of me!
I also make digital scrap kits and commercial use images for other designers to use in their own scrap kits! I am known as the designer "Whisper in the Wind." I enjoy anything creative, even though scrap-booking is my favorite. It is like a meditation for me..I can get lost in my creating. I also enjoy crocheting, singing, exercising, cooking, and my paleo 310 lifestyle.
I try to be a light, and an inspiration to those around me. I try to give more than I take. I try to be a good friend, and a good mom. My hope, is that when I leave this world, my mark on it will be a positive one..and maybe, just maybe, I will leave my little piece of the world a bit better than I found it.

  40. I've been a scrapbooker for longer than I care to admit and have more paper than I can ever use. For some reason that's not enough, so I started to print things so now I guess I'm a hybrid scrapper. Except then I discovered I could use Photoshop Elements for more than just fixing red-eye ;) now I'm hooked. oh boy.

  41. My name is Gonda, I'm from Germany, married for over 25 years with two wonderful kids.
I started designing with PSP 7 a long time ago. In the beginning I made stationary for e-mails and tags. Then I switched to photo collages for print and stuff like calenders and photobooks but I was often unhappy with the background papers and elements included in the software because I'm really picky about matching colours. That's why I started to design my own papers, elements and kits for digital scrapbooking. I design just for fun but love to share what I made with others.
So thank you very much for downloading and I hope you will have fun, too.

  42. I am a Christian visual artist working in acrylic paint and colored pencils primarily since 2005, who LOVES to play with digital design, tweaking photos and playing with some of the cool programs out there. I mainly use Inkscape, I no longer have a copy of Illustrator, since they discontinued that version. I have just purchased Rip Studio, and am currently creating some fabric flowers with it and some interesting papers/overlays.

  43. Hello I'm Charlotte and I'm a digital scrapper for several years and still learning everyday. I use PSE14 en PS CS6 for my LO's and trying to make some digital supplies for myself. I also love art-journaling, hybrid and digital.

  44. I'm a mom of four small children with a love of family history and genealogy, so learning to digital scrapbook works perfectly for me by allowing me to share images of my babies and to share family history with relatives.

  45. Hi, I’m Nili Lis from Israel.
I am also a wife to a wonderful, loving, and supportive husband and mom to three energetic boys.

  46. I live in Arizona with my wonderful husband. We have 3 children and 4 beautiful talented grand-children. I've been digital scrapbooking for many many years. Since the first Photoshop Elements was introduced I've been making my own elements. I am my families Heritage keeper so I've scrapbooked our family history. I also love genealogy and have created many Family Tree pages. My scrapbook pages are 6x4 with 300dpi because I make videos using them and they fit better at that size. I also print them as mini scrapbooks for the family. I look forward to sharing my work with you all and picking up some extra techniques.

  47. Mostly a graphics dabbler - even gave Blender and mesh a whirl. Mainly do art journal type projects and some digi-scrapping atm.

  48. Mom to 4 awesome kiddos and wife to an amazing husband! I love to digiscrap, journaling, collage, and pretty much anything that lets me get my creative fix. I have a washi tape obsession (talking hundreds of rolls...eek!).

Aside from all that, I like to design too. It comes and goes as inspiration hits (and the busyness of life slows down). Pixelscrapper has been a huge resource of learning for me. Hope to keep learning as time goes on and scrapbooking evolves. :)

  49. I love all sorts of arts and crafts, digital scrapbooking and graphic design, but at the moment my favourite creative pursuit is Project Life.

  50. Hi, Tincika is my nickname from childhood :-).

*** CREATIVE TEAM update: If you are interested to be in my creative team, please let me know ([email protected]).

  51. I am new to designing stationary and invitations. I haven't tried my hand at creating my own papers and graphics, but look forward to the day I have photoshop and can learn how to use it. Right now, designing birthday, and other party, invitations is a hobby and as a SAHM it gives me some me time. I get a ton of gratification out of creating something that I know the recipient loves.

  52. I adore digital scrapbooking and sharing the hobby with others. I was instantly hooked on scrapbooking when I began paper scrapping in 2000, after the birth of my son, as it allowed me to record his childhood, which was especially important to me since I'm an adoptee and had no idea of my beginnings until age 34.

I inadvertently discovered that I had learned the basics for digital scrapbooking after creating graphics to dress up a Yahoo group page. I had drooled over the digital pages, with their brushes and fantastic photo effects, but actually went kicking and screaming into digital scrapbooking because, after all, it COULDN'T look as good as paper, right?

I threw myself into digital at that time and joined several online digiscrap communities. That led to CTing for designers and shops. I was creating lots of boy pages but found so few kits, and so I began creating what I needed. That progressed to designing kits, and I began selling online in 2009.

I've dabbled on and off in designing all these years, sharing or selling things I've created for my own pages, since my first goal is to keep up with my own pages, and as you know, we NEVER get caught up! I've become partially disabled in the past two years and am only able to work part time, so I now have more time to design and scrap than I normally do.

  53. I'm a 64 year old living in Toronto Canada. I started paper scrapping in the 1990s & switched to digital in the early 2000s.

I've been happily married for 35 years with 2 adult children. We have a married adult daughter & a late son. (He had multiple severe disabilities - nonverbal autism, severe intellectual disability, atypical bipolar disorder, epilepsy and was a XYY male. We lost him 5 years ago at age 25 to SUDEP - Sudden Death in EPilepsy). I consider him my greatest teacher. Graham's photo and memorial page are here: https://www.autismbrainnet.org/donor/graham-brown/ (The same photo and tribute are also on the North American SUDEP Registry Our Stories page which he shares with others. Graham's donation was a joint donation to both sets of researchers.)

I'm retired but originally a children's librarian (public library) and then a supply (substitute) teacher. My favourite classes to teach were kindergarten, grades 1-2, middle school and especially special education. I particularly liked teaching students with autism or intellectual disabilities or adhd or learning disabilities or who needed behavioural support.

My hobbies (other than digital scrapping and photography) are knitting, board gaming, reading, journaling especially bullet journals, fountain pens, listening to a wide variety of music, classic movies and foreign language films and cooking (low carb/keto now since it controls my Type 2 diabetes.) I have a big interest in history, geography and different cultures and read a lot in these areas. I mostly read nonfiction but I do enjoy science fiction and fantasy. My husband and I share our home with 3 rescue kitties.

I consider myself a beginner with scrapbook design and I am enjoying learning.

  54. I'm a librarian and writer who designs graphics as a hobby.

  55. wife, mom, homeschooler, homesteader, photographer, scrapbooker, author, blogger, a follower of Christ.

  62. I am a mother of 4. I also, am Done by Dorothy on Youtube. I love creating anything that involves paper!

  63. I'm a happy go-lucky gal from Canada, enjoying life to the fullest now that I've retired from my career as an accountant.

I have a particular passion for making things from scratch with my own two little hands. In other words... any excuse to give my creative itch a good scratching every now and then !

Jewelry design, metalsmithing, candle making, and leather work/traditional native beading are my passions of the day that I've managed to turn into a little home business for myself.

Nature and animals are my inspiration for everything I do, so my creations tend to lean towards using natural materials and earthy colour palettes with plenty of flora and fauna in my designs.

And now I've discovered the wonderful world of photoshop and digital scrapbooking !

I'm still quite the rookie when it comes to photoshop, but I'm learning a little bit every day.

I have a loving supportive husband who gets a good laugh at the endless hours I spend watching Youtube "How-To" videos learning new ways to create more pretties to share with the world.

Who knew playing on a computer could be so fun?

  64. Photographer, graphic designer, mother of 5.

  65. I have been digitally scrapbooking since about 2008. A few years ago I started designing my own scrapbook kits and posting them for free on my blog. I still post some free things on my blog, and of course I have listed lots of things here on Pixel Scrapper in the Commons section, and most months I participate in the blog train. I do sell kits and templates at three online stores; Berry Applicious, Inspirations of Scrapfriends and Digi Graphic Designs. I am proud to say that I completed a project 52; many of those scraps are posted here. I am married to my high school sweetheart; in 2017 we celebrated our 40th anniversary. A perfect day would be to do all three. The only way to top that would be to bring our grown daughter along for the adventure!

I've been scrapbooking since 1996 and am now fully addicted to digital scrapbooking. I love reliving the moments that were captured on camera and coming up with designs that bring the stories to life. I am currently working on 2006, determined to get caught up. My goal is to be caught up through 2010 by the end of this year (2018).

  75. Hello! My name is Sonia and I love to draw, digital design and, above all, make digital scrap kits!

  76. I am introverted and love the quiet life. Doing my best, to do my best, for God and country. I live in a small farming town in Eastern Oregon since 2013. Previously I had spent 46 years in Alaska and upon retirement, moved to my new forever home. Family is very important to me. We have a small place of six acres, a few fruit trees, a few farm animals, and a few dreams. We love it here and do our best to be an asset to our small community. I volunteer quite a bit in our small church. I teach sunday school crafts, act as the church clerk, church treasurer, track our missionaries around the world, and develop and print out our weekly sunday bulletin.
I enjoy many hobbies including photography, gardening, crochet, beading, polymer clay, reading and writing. I also love old movies.
I currently use Photoshop CS6 to design graphics. I enjoy the creative process of designing, and participating in Blog Hops is my favorite design project. I am married to a great guy, and we have a blended family of seven grown children and 14 grandchildren...

  77. Homeschool mom of nine, Marmee (grandmother) to fifteen, author, and scrapbook designer turned Bible journal designer. I love the art journaling mixed-media styles and do some hybrid Bible journaling with Travelers Notebooks.

I believe Pixel Scrapper is the best value available. I've always admired Marisa Lerin's ingenuity. I love the way the site is set up. Perfect for me to grab an element quickly.

    A Little History

My biggest passion is the Bible. I've written Bible studies and homeschool studies since the 1990s. I have never paper scrapbooked but I began digital scrapbooking in 2009. In 2011 I began designing my own kits. I shifted my passion for patterns and colors from quilting to scrapbooking. When Shanna Noel introduced the world to Bible journaling in 2014 I knew it was a game-changer for me. That week I began working on Bible journaling kits and combining them with my Bible studies. I love how God gives me the desires of my heart!

I'm originally from Orlando. Florida. We now live just outside Nashville, Tennessee. My husband is a retired federal agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and Homeland Security. We have one eighteen-year-old son at home. and whenever possible my twenty-year-old Marine is home on leave.

All my other children are adults, most with children of their own. My thirty-six-year-old daughter when to Heaven in 2014. We moved back to Florida for five years to help with her three sons. Now that they are all over eighteen we moved back to Tennessee to be near the rest of the family. My story is at My Story: Masked to Truefaced – Heart of Wisdomhttp://heartofwisdom.com/blog/my-story-masked-to-truefaced/

When I am not Bible journaling I'm reading, researching, writing or quilting (almost always with my little five-pound Pomeranian, Arrow, on my lap or by my feet). Life is simpler now that most the children are grown. It has taken me years to learn to not cook for eleven people, but I still feel like laundry is never ending. :) My adult children visit frequently so our home is still like Grand Central Station but there are more quiet times in between.

Family is my life. Creating and sharing digital art is the frosting on the cake.

  78. I am a returning digi-scrap designer. I had medical issues and family obligations which ultimately made it impossible for me to keep designing. I have 2 grown boys in their twenties. My Fiancee and I have 4 furbabies, Vintage, Kismet, Karma and Pip who keep us busy. Alex works full time and is doing college online to get his IT degree (because nowadays 20+ years in IT isn't good enough) and I stay here and keep things going. I am back at designing and trying to get my one major medical issues under control enough to get even a part-time job outside the house and hopefully get my scrapbook designing business back in full swing. I also have ADHD so I will often make 2 or 3 kits and a time. I just keep designing until I am done then sort the kits out later lol. I love to bake and also try to do a lot of crafting. Nice to be here, a home would be nice after all these years. *heart*

  79. Hi :)
I have been involved in all sorts of crafts and creative ventures my whole life. I was a graphic designer and currently have a lot of fun coloring for a webcomic. I enjoyed paper scrapbooking for years but after moving 13 years ago, and the advent of digital pictures, I lost my way a bit.
I have several chronic illnesses so I spend a lot of time on the computer and it helps me feel productive and stay in touch with others. I'm involved with animal rescue and have fostered many dogs and some kittens. It's very rewarding to know I helped save a little furry soul but some are hard to let go. Hence my family members include 2 dogs and a cat LOL.
My boyfriend and I and some family went to the UK and the desire to show off my pictures made me decide to plunge into digital scrapbooking and I'm having a ball! Thank you for such a wonderful community and all those who share a bit of themselves and their work here.

  80. I love everything creative! I'm a planner fanatic, journaller, bible doodler... and sometimes feel like an unorganized MESS! I love creating my own planner stickers and that's why I joined Pixel Scrapper. Looking forward to meeting all you creative geniuses!!

  81. SAHM who loves to be crafty - from making hair bows, creating mixed media paintings for family to learning to sew to make whatever comes to mind. Digital Scrapbook Designer along with other misc paper scrapbook designs. Previously designed under 'Made by Me Inspirations' but have taken that name back for my paper scrapbooking and am now digi designing under 'Meg Scott Studio'. I am a Pinterest junkie and love DIY projects - just need to find the time to finish my personal 'Honey - Me - Do' list.

  83. I work in Permanent Supportive Housing, helping people exiting homelessness and domestic violence to make a fresh start and have a successful, happy life. I enjoy art journaling, scrapbooking, swimming, playing with my dog, reading, writing, and gardening. I am a Distinguished Toastmaster and enjoy competing in speaking contests.

  84. I am a wife, mother and grandmother, a fiber artist as well as a scrapper, and I have a great passion for lace.

I am a traditional scrapper at heart, loving to work with the physical products whether making full size layouts, or pocket scrapping.
I have been exploring the digital side of scrapping more since I've been playing here, but I know I will never give up the other. I often work hybrid projects by printing out items from digital files and incorporating them into my physical layouts.

I am so thrilled with the community here, and the beautiful kits the talented designers make available on this site.

  85. Recent empty-nester who worked in government for 20+ years. Picked up the digital scrapbooking hobby because of the generations of family pics that need a story.

  86. I'm a disabled single mother of one 17 year old son, Christian. We live in a small town in Illinois, USA. I enjoy digiscrapping, designing digital scrapbook supplies, reading, playing games on my tablet, and spending time with my family.

  87. Hello, I'm a proud mother of 2 beautiful, smart & amazing girls (well teenagers). Around here everyone calls me Lisa Hope..us country folk love to have two names..lol!! When I'm not running here & there to basketball games, track meets, softball games, volleyball games, girl scout meetings & all the many things my 2 are in..I am resting & working on my scrap projects.

I always have a camera in my hand & have become known as the local photographer around my parts. I snap a shot of everyone & everything I possible can. I am very active in my church & community & keep a strong faith. So all of my time is very well taken up all day & nights.

I love scrap booking, have for years now. Like everyone, I started with the paper scrapbooks years ago even before my girls were born...but then I found the digital world & I was hooked. Seems like I live on the internet. Sometimes I sit & think what in the world did I use to do when I was younger & the internet wasn't around..lol!! Almost as though the world stops at our house & things just goes crazy when it is down.

I love sharing what I can. After all the time & money I have put into gathering scrapbooking supplies, both digital & paper, my goal is too help allow others find things easier & faster for their use. I have been designing graphics since 2014, but not in the digi scrapbooking world until 2017.

I have become known as LEA Art Designs & I do what I do for fun, enjoyment, making new friends & relaxing. I can only pray that I become good enough, even if it's just a small bit, as all of the amazing designers here.

Anyway, I am excited about all the new people I am going meet & the new adventures I will find here. Everyone have a blessed & happy day...BIG HUGS to all!!

  88. I have been married to Tod for 39 years. We have three children and five grandchildren. I am a teacher and have taught for 31 years.

  89. Hi everyone!

My name is Julie and I live in Massachusetts with my husband and 2 rescue dogs. River is a Pit Bull and Brook is a Chihuahua. We moved to Mass. 3 1/2 years ago for my husbands job. We are both huge animal lovers, especially dogs.

We have on daughter who is 28, married and living in Texas. I am hoping soon to catch up to all my friends who already have grandchildren.

I started using PSP about 15 years ago and then in 2008 I started using Photoshop. I owned a digital store for about 4 years and lost my pc 2 years ago. I recently bought a new one and I have been right back at creating.

Although I do not scrapbook myself I love to create the items for those who do. I also get a lot of my inspiration from other artist. And scrap booking is certainly an art.

I am very glad to be here and anxious to get up to 50 points so I can start sharing with everyone.

  90. I'm an author, Artist, and Evil Genius, living in Southern NH.

Domestic violence survivor and women's advocate.

  91. I am a full time working wife and mother of three sons, ages 22, 21, and 8. I love all manner of crafting; From digital scrap-booking to tangible mixed media projects. I love to learn from other people and get exposed to the huge world of art.

Creativity is in my blood. I have always sketched pictures since I was a kid, and now with social media (Thanks YouTube, Pinterest, Google images, and PIXELSCRAPPER, etc....) I have become so overwhelmed with what project(s) to do for the day. I don't even know where to start. Should I make cards or make my own clay? Or should I design a wall hanging for the living room. I have become ridiculously indecisive with what I want to make.
Also, I have become a craft hoarder. From paints, to dies and other cutting machines, to scrapbook paper and other designer card stock and embellishments, I have turned my little kitchen nook into my craft studio. I'm surprised my husband hasn't told me to get rid of all of the craft supplies....ie..clutter.

My craft collection addiction is partially what made me want to learn more about digital scrap booking. It is all new for me, but I have invested in the Adobe Photoshop application and I have scoured YouTube on learning different techniques in layering scrapbook images, pages, brushes, and so on.

When I stumbled accross Pixelscrapper I was elated that you could get so many kits and bundles to make what ever you had in mind...and more!

Now I can go to the next level of design by doing it digitally.

  92. married, stay-at-home mom of 18 yr old Kaleb (Asperger's), 3 inside kitties ~ love to read, digital scrapbook, quilting, cross-stitch, jewelry making and sometimes do various other crafts

  93. ------------------------------------------------------------
November 3, 2019: Addendum to my note below, made two years earlier. I am now on a LENGTHY design and scrapbooking break, the length of which, I do not yet know. I am reassessing my life, in general, as I had never found a "new normal" for myself since acquiring physical limitations as a result of the CVA (Cerebral Vascular Accident) I endured in 2013. If I return to designing, I will most likely continue along with the plans I posted here previously:
November 4, 2017: With regards to my designs here at Pixel Scrapper, I've made a decision (though, it is possible that I could change my mind again - I'm good at that), to concentrate on updating (for quality) all of my older products to upload to the commons before starting any new designs (like blog trains, etc.)...hoping to instead catch up on my own scrapping needs when I get the urge to be creative.
    ------------------------------------------------------------

Married (to the best man in the world- I truly believe that!), mother of 2 boys, also a bereaved parent...my first child was born with a severe seizure disorder which profoundly stunted his development. He was fully disabled, both physically and cognitively, throughout his short life of 13 years. My second son is over twenty years and still lives at home with his father and I.

I've been designing digital scrapbook products since 2009 and although I was a designer at a store for 3 years starting in 2010, I didn't like having to work so hard for so little payback; I much prefer doing it for the joy it gives me and others; I was so very pleased when I found this site and read their manifesto...exactly what I have always felt. I grew-up in a "creative" home; my father was a professional artist and photography hobbyist; my mother was always doing crafty things, she taught me sewing, crocheting, knitting, etc. I worked with computers for years before they became household items, so, when I discovered digital scrapbooking in 2008; it was a natural fit for me.

In January, 2008 I discovered that I had only 3 months until my niece's wedding shower and since I wanted to create a genealogical scrapbook as my gift, I knew there would be no way I could meet that deadline using the traditional paper scrapping method... so off I went searching for a way to do it digitally...that's when I discovered the world of digital scrapbooking. Like so many others before me, I was immediately hooked on this past-time. By April 2013, I decided to give up selling my designs and return to giving them away freely. My original plans were to also create some tutorials on the subject as I also have a professional background in developing 'Computer Based Training' BUT as what often happens with PLANS, Life can get in the way...in July, 2013, I survived a CVA (aka stroke). Even after months in hospital acute rehabilitation and a rehabilitation nursing facility, I am now a left-sided hemiplegia (left side of my body is paralyzed - head to feet, everything left of center). Makes many daily activities quite frustrating but at least I have this creative activity to use as an outlet for those negative feelings. ;-)

  95. I'm Hilde from a little town in Belgium. I like to scrap, handmade and recently also digital. I love the european way of scrapbooking, where you put the accent on the photos. So that will be the style you can expect and discover from me

  96. Just another scrapper, trying her best to get through life and keep her crafty hobby alive.

I come from Indonesia, but I often spend my vacations in neighbouring Singapore where a good portion of my mother's family lives. I saw my first scrapbook store there but I never pursued scrapbooking until a store opened up in a mall nearby.

  97. I am a mom of 2 kids and 1 dog and am a professional software tester. During my spare free time I love to digiscrap, walk, read, geocache, and so many more.
I live in the Netherlands near Rotterdam (and the beach *heart*)

  98. Hi, I am a SAHM with 4 kids. I love Jesus, adoption, photography, and adventures. I enjoy pocket scrapbooking, but I want to try other styles.

  99. Hi! I'm excited to be a part of the Commons! I'm a wife, mom of 2, and I am also a home-based business owner - I'm a digital designer, but I also make wax melts, soap, and other bath and body products (company name is Creative Scentworks).

I do sell some of my designs on Etsy, but I also enjoy being able to give some away for free. I hope you enjoy what I've posted here! I also have freebies on my blog at http://brandiscrafts.com :)

  101. I have 3 degrees, computer programing, architectural drafting, and studio art. All 3 of my degrees play a roll in how I think, design, and create art.

In 2019 I was retired due to extenuating family and personal health. Now I am a full-time caregiver. Any free time I have is spent making mostly digital art because I can pick it up and put it down at a moment's notice. I am looking to get back into selling my art online and producing pieces for the gallery I was in before I retired.

  4. I've been scrapbooking for about 16 years and digital (using PSE) for the past 3 or so. I am a mom to two girls and a wife to a great man. I work full-time as a university administrator and love it when I have time to engage in my hobby! Look forward to getting to know you all!

  8. mother of 2 grown-up childeren; my hobbies are taking pictures, traveling, scrapping and reading. I work full-time as a Home Care Nurse, so I'm on the road a lot!

I hope that this site, will give me the creative "kick in the butt" to get 10+ yrs of photos, turned into actual completed layouts! My handful of layouts, doesn't even compare to the mental pile, that still needs to be tackled.

I recently upgraded from Photoshop Elements 7, to Pse 2018.

  19. Hi, hello! I am from Brazil. I love pocket pages to tell my stories and I love different layout size, as 8x8 and traveler notebook.

  20. I love digital scrapbooking, sewing, crafting, reading, and eating. :D

  21. Mom of two teens, loves digital scrapbooking, reading, social media :D

  22. I scrap when I'm not running around after my gorgeous but utterly exhausting little boys. It keeps me sane. Mostly.

  23. I am a scrapbooker, crafter, baker, quilter, and reader. I am also a stay-at-home mom. I enjoy traditional scrapbooking, but since I've gotten into digital I don't do as much. I recently got a Silhouette and a Gelli plate and I've had so much fun experimenting with those. Recently, my scrapbooking style has gotten messier (more art-journalingish), paintier and mixed-mediumer.

  24. I homeschooled all three of my kids from pre-K to high school graduation. I am currently staying home, recovering from a much needed knee replacement. We have a small six acre farm with goats, donkeys, chickens, ducks and geese, one handicapped cat, three "shelter" kittens, six guinea fowl, and four Great Pyrenees Livestock Guardian Dogs. Although I was very involved with "paper and glue" scrapping, my digital files originally were purely for greeting card making for our family and friends and for gifting. I have discovered that I have a digital hoarding addiction and am accumulating far more lovely items that I can use, but I am enjoying the guilty pleasure of collecting them nonetheless! I very recently purchased Photoshop Elements 2018 and am beginning to learn digital scrapping.

  25. I am a stay at home mom, and just getting started in the world of digital scrapbooking

  26. Married mom of 3 grown kids, Grandma of 3, Mom to 4 furbabies, Great-Aunt to 5 sweethearts. I've been married for 20 years, currently unable to work due to health issues. I have many many interests & hobbies, crafts being no. 1 on the list.

I envy all of you designers, you all do such beautiful work, each & every one of you!!

  27. I am a retired RN. I grew up in a small town in Lancaster County, PA, but for the past 20 years have lived in Northeast Ohio. My hobbies are digital scrapping, photography and reading mysteries.

  28. I'm an intermediate digital scrapbooker and have recently started venturing out into creating for others.

That's just about everyone! At Pixel Scrapper we believe in encouraging creativity, generosity, and a spirit of abundance. Check out the Pixel Scrapper Manifesto if you're interested to learn more about our dreams and vision!
