The Pixel Scrapper Team

Meet the amazing Pixel Scrapper team! We don't have an application page right now, but if you're interested in joining us for any of the positions below, we post call outs in the forums from time to time: so your best bet is to keep an eye on things, and be active in the community!

Fearless Leaders

Marisa first started Pixel Scrapper as a hobby site in 2010. In 2012 she got Jordan to come on board as webmaster and systems administrator.

  1. Hi There! I’m Marisa Lerin and you’ll see me around at Pixel Scrapper a lot. I started this site in 2010 soon after I discovered a new love in digital scrapbooking. Pixel Scrapper has gone through some significant changes since that time and it’s grown into this lovely community site you are seeing now. I am daily surprised by the turn of life’s events that has led me down this path. If you're new to the site, welcome! Here are a few tidbits about me that I hope will help you get to know me better!

I’m originally from Minnesota, USA, but spent a good chunk of my childhood living abroad (in Bolivia and Hong Kong). I returned to Minnesota to attend university, got married and then moved overseas again (Korea, then Jordan and 1 year of traveling). My designs are heavily influenced by these many nomadic years. I am currently back in the USA, now living in the great state of Oregon!

I have no official training for what I’m doing, since I decided very wisely (haha) to study physics in university. I am always learning new things about digital scrapbooking, and this community has been immensely helpful for that!

If I manage to stop digital scrapbooking you will probably find me watching TV, reading or baking. I also enjoy writing for the blog here at Pixel Scrapper where I talk about whatever happens to be catching my fancy at the moment.

  2. I'm married to Marisa Lerin. I don't do much digital scrapbooking myself, but I am passionate about creativity, visual design, technology, and the web. I also help to run this website!

Junior Webmaster

Thani is is our junior webmaster extraordinaire and customer support ninja!

  1. Hi! I'm Jordan's youngest brother. I grew up in North Africa and the Middle East and have spent much of my life popping from place to place. I recently graduated (in May!) from a smallish university in western Tennessee where I studied a little bit of everything but primarily English literature and also performed in many plays. I just moved in with Jordan and Marisa and will be working on the support side of things. I like too many things, but some of my favorites are adventures and the simple pleasures of life, both enjoyed with people I love!

Designers

Our designers are super talented and super tight: friends who met right here at Pixel Scrapper! Click on their profile pictures to see their designs and learn more about them.

  1. I have been around the digital scrapping world since it began! And I've been a web designer & developer since 1996. I was always an artist, drawing and even making my own paper dolls as a kid. I was also very obsessed with the Victorian era when I was a kid & still love all things 19th century. I also love history, genealogy, archaeology & photography.

Outside of scrapping I'm married to my wonderful DH for 17 years, have 4 living children & 2 baby boys who were born sleeping. We currently live in an antebellum home built circa 1830's ~ so we are often busy with restoration projects. I'm always finding buttons, china & pottery shards and other misc old artifacts which I plan on scanning/photographing and using in my scrap projects. I hope to share those too one day!

  2. I'm excited to tell you all I'm BACK! I'll be regularly designing new kits again - here at Pixel Scrapper!

Hi, I’m Brooke Gazarek from Ohio, USA. I'm a graphic designer and I also design here at Pixel Scrapper. I use multiple types of medium, to create fun and exciting results.

I am also wife to a wonderful, loving, and supportive husband and mom to two energetic boys.

  3. I came to digital scrapbooking by way of Project Life, which I did in physical form for the first year and then tried out doing digitally, and became hooked for life on digital documenting. I made my first designs to share as contributions for Pixel Scrapper blog trains, and am now thrilled to have joined up as a member of the Pixel Scrapper design team! I create products for digital pocket scrapbooking and traditional scrapbooking, and want to support people however I can in creatively and easefully documenting their lives.

You can follow along with my Project Life adventures (and find past blog train goodies and other freebies) at my blog, Scrumptiously: http://eversoscrumptiously.wordpress.com/

  4. Hey there,

I'm Janet. I was born and raised in Minnesota. My favorite title is mommy to two of the smartest, most beautiful, spunky, sweet girls out there. When I'm not taking care of the little peanuts, I run my photography and design businesses.

I stumbled across Pixel Scrapper early on when it was first started (before it became the site that it is today). Ironically, I ended up messaging Marisa to see if I could help contribute. I wanted to find a way to give back. Little did I realize that years later I would end up being fortunate enough to join this fab team! :)

  5. I love to be creative with many different kinds of mediums, from the moment I was born. I love drawing, painting, sculpturing, cross stitching, sewing and much more. Photography is another passion of mine and I take this with me when I explore the richness of culture the world has to offer. Because I love to travel and made many photos along my journeys, I looked for a creative way to journal all the gained impressions and memories.

About ten years ago I started to fall in love with paper scrapping. I collected a lot of scrapbooking material and made quite a collection of pages. After a while I found myself having less and less time to spend on my hobbies and a few years ago I discovered the ease of use of digital scrapbooking. By making scrapbook pages on my computer, I can scrapbook whenever I have a spare moment, wherever I am.

I recently graduated from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands and I've started my own product design agency called Studio Gekko.

  6. Wife and mother of two, a graphic- and webdesigner by day and scrapaddict by night!

  7. Hello!
I am Elif, face behind Sahin Designs.I am a self-educated graphic designer who loves scrapbook and photography. My design history is fairly new yet I can't tell how much I love to learn new things each day. Pixel Scraper is my first place where I started designing, actually to be correct it is where I started scrapbooking! And I love this place, fellow designers and the PS community where everyone is so helpful and full of love!

  9. I am a dedicated stay at home mom to a most awesome husband and 4 amazing children. My husband and I have been married for 20 years, and my children are my everything. My most favorite thing in the world to do apart from family time is design. I've been into scrapbooking forever, but started the digi world of scrapbooking for about 5 years now, and started designing about 2 years ago. I also love reading to, playing with, and homeschooling my little ones. We are in the military, so we have also traveled a lot, but I am happy to be finally settled here in Alabama and retiring this year!

Moderators

Our moderators are super friendly, super active community members who keep our forums running like a well-oiled machine! Now if only Jordan would help them out by implementing forum search...

  1. I love to scrap. I scrap in both digital and traditional. I got into scrapping about 14 years ago because I absolutely love photography and was working on my husbands and mine genealogy at the time. I am a self-professed "pin"aholic on Pinterest!!!

  2. I'm digital scrapbook designer. As an artistic soul I love creating beautiful designs allowing me to express myself. I share my passion for creation at Sunshine Inspired Designs. My adventure with digital scrapbooking started while my husband and I decided to travel indefinitely and traditional scrapbooking wasn't an option any more. I fell in love with it so much that I decided to create my own kits and share them with everyone who loves scrapbooking as much as I do.

I'm also passionate about animals and photography, so it only seemed natural to start photographing them! In addition to my work as a photographer, I hold a degree in Environmental Biology from Gdansk University, Poland. I’ve worked with many amazing animals throughout my years as an animal care giver, pet sitter, volunteer, and trainer.

  3. I collect pez dispensers and have 1500+

I love the mountains and being outside

I went to Africa for a whole day once

I have an awesome husband named Bill

I love to look at pictures, my own and everyone else's

I randomly open fridges - yep - everywhere I go - I don't even know why and most of the time I open it and close it and can't even tell you what was in there - maybe it is my subconscious making sure I will have food if I am stuck there for a few days - very strange - I don't get it

  5. Hello! My name is Lorien and I am a thirty-something years-old from São Paulo, Brazil, married for almost a decade, and proud kitten mom.
I got in contact with Pixel Scrapper before it was the amazing site you´re seeing, when I was looking for some assets for hybrid scrapbooking. I enjoyed it so much that I´m on this site since the closed beta. I was a beginner back then and I learned a lot here, and soon became forum moderator as a way to give a little back. It was because of Pixel Scrapper that I started designing too. It prooved a really useful skill for my small craft business.

  6. I enjoy digital scrapping. I actually do both digital and paper scrapping. Something I have been doing for years.
I enjoy researching my families past. Have made many contacts and connected with family members I did not even know existed. I have been compiling history, pictures and documents to date.
I am a designer, web designer, and a Professor at our local College.

    Happy scrapping.

  7. Wife and mother of two, a graphic- and webdesigner by day and scrapaddict by night!

  8. A mini-biography: Born and raised in the upper Midwest, lived in both rural and urban areas, disabled at age 30, have been in eastern Tennessee since 2009. Divorced, but dating an incredible man that I hope to spend the next 50-60 years with. I have a son who'll be 24 this year, who's a US Navy submariner.

I've been collecting scrap freebies for a while, making layouts for my photography scrapbook and more recently a toddler niece. I tend to be sort of seasonal with my interests, as photography in the cold aggravates fibromyalgia, and too much sunlight triggers lupus flareups--so I scrap a lot in summer and winter and enjoy spring and fall outdoors, often with a camera in hand. If I'm not shooting photos, training my mobility dog, or designing (mostly commercial-use items for my shop), I'm probably either watching anime or playing Steam games or one of several tabletop RPGs with my gaming group.

Upload Helpers

These ladies are the super heroes of Pixel Scrapper! Since day one, we've had a dream of free daily download credits, and making all our designs available for individual download; well, these upload helpers are the ones who make that dream possible!

  1. I'm married to a wonderful man and we have two fur-babies. I have no children but I'm an aunt several times. I have made several digital gift albums and calendars, but my own albums are still paper scrapping since I have printed pictures from before I discovered digital. I am taking photography class to learn how to use my poor little-used DSLR.

  2. Hello! My name is Nicole. I am 24 and married to a wonderful man. We have a beautiful 3 YO daughter who amazes us everyday. I am currently in school for accounting, I will have a certificate by 2015, and then I plan to go back for an associates and then bachelors degree in Business Administration.

I have done web/graphic design and created web pages since I was very young for personal/fun purposes. Only recently (August 2014) did I start digital scrapbooking, simply because the cost of paper scrapping is enormous! For someone who is on a very tight income, that hobby is one you cannot do much with. However, digital scrapping is something that if you mess up; no money is wasted.

As of September 2014 I started to share my own digital scrapbooking designs with communities. I feel it is only fair to give something back when others are so willing to release freebies. I am hoping to sell a small portion of designs in the future to feed this hobby.

  3. I love crafting especially making cards but my real passion is digital crafting. Currently seem to be spending more of my time learning digital scrapbooking. Very new to photoshop and find it quite challenging at times but slowly getting there.

  4. Hi. My name is Tina and I'm a digi scrapping addict! I started paper scrapping back in 2002 when my youngest son was 2 years old. I discovered digi scrapbooking in 2006 and never looked back. I live in Florida with my DH and our 2 boys and lots of animals!

  5. Wife and mom to three cute kids. They are the stars of my scrapbooking layouts! I am also a digital scrapbook designer designing as Day Dreams 'n Designs. I love digi-scrapping & designing, card-making, reading, and playing with my kids in our awesome park-like backyard!

  6. just a single girl trying to do the best she can with what she's got. trying for ecstatic, will settle for content!!!

  7. Retired in Dec 2011 and finally have time to get into digi-scrapping! First PSE classes taken in June so finally understood how to make a layout. Lots of hobbies: ceramics, crocheting, cross stitch, sewing (especially baby doll clothes for grand nieces) and want to learn to knit!

  8. Helllllooooo! I'm a part time scrapbooker, part time crocheter, part time assistant and full time work-at-home mom. My hat are many and my head seems to be a bit crowded. I like to dive into creativity when I can but that's all dependent on how bored my 5 year old gets. I can't tell you how much I am excited for September! ;-)

  9. I love photography and have an addiction to photoshop! I have extensive knowledge of photoshop and teach workshops from my home in both photography and photoshop editing.

I love sewing and crafting in general. Creating handmade gifts bring such joy to both myself and of course to the recipient. I often create my own props and costumes for my photo shoots.

We enjoy traveling to see the beauty in the world, and it gives us the opportunity to experience new cultures and people. My ultimate wish would be to visit every country on this glorious earth!
I'm thankful and grateful for all of the people in my life, and for the experiences I've had.

  10. I am enjoying the world of paper and 3D structures. I have owned and operated a computer business for 22 years and am now only working 1 week a month so I guess I am semi-retired. I am winding down my career and taking time for my "creative side".

  11. I am a researcher for a non-fiction author & proud Auntie to three, two 11yo twin nephews & a 9yo niece, who live right around the corner from us in a tiny town in the hills of western Massachusetts. I’ve been married to Rick for 24 years & have known him for 39 years (we met my second week of college). I love gardening - veggies, herbs, & masses of perennials; sewing - clothes from vintage patterns for me, doll clothes for my vintage fashion dolls for my niece to play with; reading - especially science fiction, science fiction romance, romance, & all kinds of history, especially history of science; & working out when my bad knee lets me.

I’m a hybrid scrapper - I work so much on the computer that I need to get away from it now & then & work with my hands. I occasionally work on 12x12 albums but I'm mostly working in 8.5x11 now - it's cheaper to get the materials + they fit on my shelves!

For my 12x12 albums, I do all my journaling & captions on the computer & print them but everything else is done the old-fashioned paper way. For my 8.5x11 albums, I do everything on the computer (layout to journalling) then print it all out, cut it up, & glue it down. It's surprisingly satisfying!

  12. Did paper crafting for a few years (rubber stamping) and had some of my creations published, then I had to go back to work and didn't have time or space for glue to set, paint to dry, baking polymer clay so digiscrapping seemed to be the next step for me. I've been scrapping since 2011. I CT for Memory Scraps (mscraps), Scrapyrus Designs and Connie Prince! I'm also an uploader here at Pixel Scrapper (as of April 2015, I hope they keep me on! LOL!)

I don't think have a particular "style" as I like to give a lot of stuff a go, from clustering to C&S and artsy and photoless pages.

Designed a couple kits early 2015, hope to make a few more. I'm in awe of the blog trains here and it was really fun to participate in some!

On a more personal level: I'm from Québec Canada but live in Western Australia, and have done so since 1998. Hubby and I are parents to twin girls (fraternal twins, they don't look the same, but they are twins!) who are in their teens. I am not sure if I have more or less patience than I thought I did, it depends on the days!

I need to update my profile pic, too pixelly. :)

  13. Long-term love affair with anything and everything paper since I can remember. My children think I'm nuts, but I call it "unique". Enjoy traditional scrapbooking, paper crafting, journaling, art journaling, photography, documenting and writing in addition to digital scrapbooking.

Also a "wee bit" of a computer dork since my introduction to the Commodore 64 (oh yes, I went there...) and there was simply no stopping me afterward.

Although it's now been a couple of years since I stumbled upon the PixelScrapper site, I still look forward to and enjoy visiting the site and browsing through all the different areas. My favorite site destinations are the Blog Train in the Forum and the Kits area where I can see the newest creations from the designers.

  14. August 11, 2017: Taking a bit of a break.

Married (to the best man in the world- I truly believe that!), mother of 2 boys, also a bereaved parent...my first child was born with a severe seizure disorder which profoundly stunted his development. He was fully disabled, both physically and cognitively, throughout his short life of 13 years. My second son is over twenty years and still lives at home with his father and I.

I've been designing digital scrapbook products since 2009 and although I was a designer at a store for 3 years starting in 2010, I didn't like having to work so hard for so little payback; I much prefer doing it for the joy it gives me and others; I was so very pleased when I found this site and read their manifesto...exactly what I have always felt. I grew-up in a "creative" home; my father was a professional artist and photography hobbyist; my mother was always doing crafty things, she taught me sewing, crocheting, knitting, etc. I worked with computers for years before they became household items, so, when I discovered digital scrapbooking in 2008; it was a natural fit for me.

In January, 2008 I discovered that I had only 3 months until my niece's wedding shower and since I wanted to create a genealogical scrapbook as my gift, I knew there would be no way I could meet that deadline using the traditional paper scrapping method... so off I went searching for a way to do it digitally...that's when I discovered the world of digital scrapbooking. Like so many others before me, I was immediately hooked on this past-time. By April 2013, I decided to give up selling my designs and return to giving them away freely. My original plans were to also create some tutorials on the subject as I also have a professional background in developing 'Computer Based Training' BUT as what often happens with PLANS, Life can get in the way...in July, 2013, I survived a CVA (aka stroke). Even after months in hospital acute rehabilitation and a rehabilitation nursing facility, I am now a left-sided hemiplegic (left side of my body is paralyzed - head to feet, everything left of center). Makes many daily activities quite frustrating but at least I have this creative activity to use as an outlet for those negative feelings. ;-)

  15. My name is Kayl, pronounced like the leafy green kale - not like Kyle. I'm American-born but living in Sweden with my husband Fredrik. We are currently expecting our first little one, due sometime in January 2018!

I'm still not too sure I know what I'm doing when I create kits but I do enjoy trying and experimenting. :) Hopefully you enjoy my creations and can use them to scrap beautiful memories!

Creative Team

Meet some of our community's amazingly talented layout makers! Click on their profile pictures to check out their beautiful creations. These ladies provide a huge amount of inspiration for everyone here at Pixel Scrapper!

  1. Living in Germany with DH and my 2 kids. Scrap addict since 8 years.

  2. Hi! My name is Renee Clark. I am a wife to a wonderful husband, and mom of 3 kids. My oldest is 15 and in 9th grade. My twins are 12 and are in 7th grade. We have an adorable, very large Goldendoodle named Max.

A local friend, Lisel Rice, introduced me to Pixelscrapper. That is how I landed here.

It has been quite a few years since I have done any kind scrapbooking. I'm excited to pick up digital scrapbooking. I served as a Design Team member for a couple of paper scrapbook companies before the crafting industry hit a low. Both of those companies went out of business, I lost my online community of scrappy friends, and with that, I also lost my mojo and stopped scrapbooking.

I worked at The Boeing Company for 10 years as a 2D and 3D artist developing Computer Based Training and that is where I picked up my initial Photoshop skills. Then I went to Microsoft and worked as a 3D artist on both of Microsoft's PC-based games Flight Sim 2001 and Combat Flight Sim 3. Seven days before my first kid was born I resigned from my career. It has been almost 16 years since I have been in the corporate world.

Today I own a small art studio in my local area. My studio is new and I'm trying to build it from scratch. It is called "CREATE Courageously" and I teach mixed media art (I LOVE using Super Heavy Gesso and Modeling Paste to create heavily textured designs). While that is where my heart is, I believe I will find some relaxing moments here, while scrapping digitally.

I look forward to meeting everyone here in the forums.

  3. I have good intentions to eventually turn my shoeboxes of old photos into digital scrapbooks, however I spend more time creating digital designs for clients and their businesses than I do scrapbooking! I use Photoshop CC mostly, although I'm trying to learn illustrator, between project deadlines.

  4. Hi! I'm 45 years old and live in Minnesota, USA. I really love scrapbooking. I scrap both with paper and digitally and love them equally. I work as a Decorative Artist which basically is painting murals & other pieces on people's walls. It's a great creative outlet and I can set my own hours which is really nice! I just found this site, and fell in love with the community feeling of it (nevermind the great kits)!

  5. I'm a sahm of two beautiful little girls. Love to digital scrapbook and design :) I use to run a site on Myspace called Baby Face Creations. Now I just use scrap-booking at a creative outlet.

  6. I'm a 55-year-old, wife of Freddy for 33 years, mother of two daughters, Lacy-25 (Shawn-27), and USMC LCpl Anne-22, Grammy to Kolten Cooper-5, Caddie-2, and Hunter-2mos, fur-mommy to Harley-1 our Chug (Chihuahua-Pug), MOTO-Marine Mom, KIA-driving, book-reading, music-collecting, computer-surfing, wine-drinking, photo-snappin', SCRAPBOOKING DIVA! Crazy!
I've just started "designing" some digi-scrap items, mainly for the PS Blog Trains. I'm thrilled that so many people give me such wonderful kudos for my pieces even though I will never compare to some of the amazing designers here. Scrapbooking is creative outlet and secret place of sanity. My major scrapping accomplishments include our Grandson Kolten's First Year Album (126 pages.....first grandchild, yeah I went overboard!). I just finished our granddaughter Caddie's ABC Album (since she didn't live with us, I was able to stay more realistic about this one). Memory albums for my Gram and my Dad. Honor albums for my Hubby and my Mom. I am now working, somewhat sporadically on my own All About Me Album, while continuing to create pages for our family annual album.
If you don't know enough about me by now, you never will............ Oh yeah, I tend to be sarcastic.........
My occupation doesn't even begin to describe what I do............SPED Para, MA Billing Specialist, AT Specialist, MTAS Administrator, SPED ECSE Clerk.

  7. I'm a freelance editor, writer and photographer. I picked up cardmaking as an art hobby more than 25 years ago. That led to scrapbooking, but really took off when digital scrapbooking software started popping up on the market. Thanks to PixelScrapper, I have honed my design skills and do some small design jobs for hire, along with my regular editing and writing. I live in the beautiful state of Montana where I work from home and volunteer for a local non-profit called the Dylan Steigers Concussion Project. I also teach water aerobics at our local Women's Club. (Otherwise, I might sit on the couch all day designing!). Besides a passion for photography, I love sports, flyfishing, cardmaking, gardening, and walking. My goal is to try to learn a new technique or enhance existing ones every month so I can give back to this wonderful community of scrapbookers through the PS blog trains.

  8. I am a 30 something Christian, mother, wife, daughter, Art teacher, and I run an Etsy Shop that sells digital party printables.

  9. Mom of three adult children and Nana to one awesome grandson and one beautiful granddauther. Full-time wife, mom, Nana, student , Program Specialist and crafter. Is there enough time in the day for all of that? Of course, it's all about priorities.

  10. Momma to 2, Wife, Stay-at-home/Work-at-home, Novice with scrapbooking and designing, have too many hobbies, sci-fi/fantasy fan, Christian, teacher in my previous life.

  11. mother of 2 grown-up childeren; my hobbies are taking pictures, traveling, scrapping and reading. I work full-time as a Home Care Nurse, so I'm on the road a lot!

  12. www.pixelscrapper.com/tonje-gram/gallery

Hi.. my name is Tonje, 43 years old.. and I`ve been scrapping for about 10 years.
My style is mostly contemporary, clean, airy, but I've been dabbling with blending and are curious about Art Journal.
Too much 3D and fantasy style doesn't fit me. But I love trying out new things.. and often join challenges.

My native language is Norwegian and I live in.. Norway!
Yes, that tiny country in north.. with Fjords and all..
To compensate for being such a tiny country.. we've got high mountains..
but they doesn`t do much for me.. since I live by the coast..
In a tiny city called Sandefjord.. oh yeah it`s a Fjord here also.
We are about 2 hours, by car, south-west of the capital Oslo.

Please ignore my curly sentences (?) English is my second language.
The spellchecker brightens up my text with red lines..
    - but it doesn't help me with building sentences.

I just got myself a new PC, been saving for a year.. it`s awesome..
4 TB.. yes.. Terra Bytes.. Hard Disk.
Besides bragging about my new PC.. I love Sudoku, Photography (of course)..
I knit while watching films.. I read most genre except horror.. mostly I prefer Historical drama.
Oooh.. and 80% Dark Chocolate.. Addicted..
On my new shiny PC I`ve got tons of pictures taken in Peru,
and photos of our Garden (Hundreds of different flowers/plants/trees), our boat at sea..
+ family, friends, food, daytrips.. just to mention a few themes..
Got Photoshop CS3 and CS6 (but prefer CS3).

I have two sons.. but only one living at home (the oldest moved out..)
Felix, my youngest.. is so creative and often hangs over my back when I am scrapping
and comes with ideas and suggestions. You`ll see I make a scrapper out of him.
He is a bit socially awkward and has autism.. so we spend a lot of time together.. Just him and me.
Together we often go on trips and photograph.. we both have decent cameras
and it is a activity that doesn't require much social skills.
Lots of the pictures I scrap is taken by him..
and it makes him so proud to see pretty pages with his pics.

  13. Colour, light and texture... they make my world go 'round! Digital Production Manager by day, crazy mad scientist-like artist by night, not creating is like holding my breath! From old school scrapping and digital to sewing a dainty dress and repurposing an old man jacket into a hat, I'm always busy making, making making!

  14. I am a stay at home Mum to one little girl and a craft addict, I don't feel right if I don't get my crafting fix!I have always crafted in some form or another and tried my hand at all sort including glass painting, jewellery making, sewing, crochet, card making and scrapbooking. I discovered scrapbooking about 10 years ago and got hooked. After years of disregarding digital scrapping I had a sudden conversion in November 2013 and instantly became addicted. Now I can't believe I was so anti it before! As a full time Mum digital scrapping fits so much better into my life and budget at the moment but I will never give up all my lovely stash! I try to make digital layouts in the same style as I would paper ones and make then look as "real" as possible by only using elements which would work on a paper layout, adding shadows and using "glow" to recreate the inking I always add to my paper layouts! I look forward to exploring this new world and having fun here at PS.

At 18 months after I started on this digital adventure I am still loving it and have been accepted on to several Creative Teams, including here at PS! The next step is to try designing!

  15. I am Bina and I love scrapbooking and photography. And I love this place where
e v e r y o n e is so helpful and lovely. Apart from everything crafty, I love fishing and the sea, the outdoors, spending time with family and friends. I love learning new things too.

  16. I am mother of 4 in Minnesota. I have been working with photoshop for over 13 years and currently work as office manager/advertising manager at our local newspaper. I love to digiscrap and am hoping to find more time to do it between running the kids to sports and work.

  17. A SAHM, Homeschool teacher with a passion to craft anything and everything! Live on the Eastern Shore of MD with my pastor husband, two children, and two fur babies!

  18. I'm a stay at home mom of 4 kids, happily married to the love of my life. Started digiscrapping in 2012 and am the designer of Made By Keuntje

  19. I'm a stay at home mom of 2, a boy 15 yrs old and a girl that is 13 (going on 21)! You can probably find me scrapping, blogging, designing, reading ebooks & watching design/scrapping tutorials! I admit I am a digi addict & I am on the pc way longer than I should be! Luckily the rest of my family is as well, we have just about every digital gadget known to man! I love being a part of Pixel Scrapper and am very happy I found Pixel Scrapper in the first place!

  20. I'm a musician, beadweaver, and sometimes artist. :) I love doing anything creative. Mom to 2 dogs, 1 cat, 6 birds, and 200 fish.

  21. Imperio Luna :D
CT for many wonderful Scrapbook designers *heart*
    Freebie giver *heart*

  22. Greetings! I am from Chapel Hill, NC (USA) and have recently become completely addicted to anything and everything remotely associated with digital scrapbooking. I have no children of my own (unless you count the 2 furry creatures that share my house and beg for food), but I thoroughly spoil any tiny humans I can get my hands on. I have been tagging and designing web pages for tournaments in gaming leagues for several years, but I am relatively new to scrapbooking. I'm branching out and trying my hand at creating an entry for the blog train soon, so you'll be hearing a lot more from me in the future! One question....how do you STOP once you've started creating papers?...I mean, first day of designing and I look up from my creative coma to find that I've made 60!!!!

  23. I LOVE hybrid!!!

  24. I scrap my family, immediate and extended, so that means lots and lots of boys!

I started with PSE 10, then move to 11 for the ease of actions. I had a 1 month period with PSE 14 before jumping to full photoshop. I'm now using Photoshop Creative Cloud and Lightroom. LOVE Lightroom! I jumped into Digital Scrapping with Project Life, and now can't imagine going back to paper layouts! I dabble in hybrid, mostly cards and planner things.

I discovered Pixel Scrapper in December of 2012.

  25. I am a 53 year old living in the small rural community of Taylorville in South Australia, originally from Western Australia.

    My interests include:
Reading (anything), cross-stitch, digital scrapbooking (obviously)

  26. I'm Melanie, 36, from right outside Boston, Ma. I have been married to Rob for 11 years. I have 2 girls Olivia, 13, and Layla, 10. We are die hard New England Patriots fans who don't pronounce our "R's" and use the word "wicked" as an adjective, so basically the stereotypical Bostonian. I'm a lover of all things crafty, obsessed with "The Walking Dead" and most anything horror related! Graphic design intrigues me and I've learned pretty much 3/4's of everything I know from Google. I am proud to say I've never owed an iPhone, I am a true Android snob. I have 3 large containers of paper scrapbooking products, yet I have never completed even 1 paper page. While googling for paper scrapbooking ideas I came across digital scrapping and never tried to make a paper page again ( to be fair I have used the paper scrapping stuff for other things).

  28. I love digital scrapbooking and am a member of several Creative Teams, including Marisa Lerin's. I am from the Philippines and go by the name lawyerlyn in the digiworld.

  29. I love everything creative! I'm a planner fanatic, journaller, bible doodler... and sometimes feel like an unorganized MESS! I love creating my own planner stickers and that's why I joined Pixel Scrapper. Looking forward to meeting all you creative geniuses!!

  30. SAHM who loves to be crafty - from making hair bows, creating mixed media paintings for family to learning to sew to make whatever comes to mind. Digital Scrapbook Designer along with other misc paper scrapbook designs. Previously designed under 'Made by Me Inspirations' but have taken that name back for my paper scrapbooking and am now digi designing under 'Meg Scott Studio'. I am a Pinterest junkie and love DIY projects - just need to find the time to finish my personal 'Honey - Me - Do' list.

  31. My experience in the digital graphics industry began a few years ago (2007 or so – does that count?), when I purchased a DSLR camera (Nikon D70s), mostly to capture my growing family and children as they participated in sports. I found myself tweaking the photos and loving it! Then I discovered digital scrapbooking (where I was previously using paper), which progressed into digital design when I couldn't find items I wanted! I really enjoy learning new techniques and designing definitely keeps me on my toes!

IRL (in real life), I provide IT support. I have previously been an instructor and trainer as well. I do love computers and most things technical and am always up for a good, technical challenge!

I have been married to my loving husband for 10 years and we have 3 children – ages 10, 17 and 19. Our family has one cat (Kitty), one dog (Hank) and one rabbit (Reese).

  32. I am a not-so-newbie to digital scrapbooking, but was hooked as soon as I started playing around with kits, fonts, and photos. I started taking photos when my oldest turned one year old, then started scrapbooking about a year after that. I now have three spunky little kids (two boys and a sweet little Sparkleheart) that keep me busy, and when I'm not tending to them, I'm chilling with my feet up on my computer or watching some wonderful television programs with the husband!!

  33. Hi, I'm Diana, 49 years old, living in Belgium, 31 years married and mother of 2 sons
I work in home care 20 hours a week and also a lot of hobbies including photography and digital scrapbooking.

  35. Avid digiscrapper for several years; mother of 2, grandmother of 4. Also love to cook and read. Live in Georgia

  36. I'm a happily married Mother of two girls. I am a Kiwi but moved to Australia in 2009. My friends like to call me a "Kwaussie"!

  37. Once upon a time, in a country far far away lived a Girl with some serious PeterPanSyndrome - she refused to ever, ever grow up. Then one day, feeling numb and exhausted from cramming for Legal Studies exams, she discovered the enchanting arts of Digital Scrapbooking. Seduced instantly by the endless creative possibilities this new hobby provided, she scrapped happily ever after.

This is her shy attempt to share some of the quirky madness that resulted from adventures in the DigiLand hoping to connect with like minded fellow scrappers in search for new inspirations.

  38. Im a mother of four, who loves crafting to the extreme, i have gone almost full digital with four kids i found it to hard to scrap every photo i took, and even harder to not scrap every photo i took and after being five years behind i joined the project life bandwagon and never looked back, i scrapped all of this years photos in a month! but i will still always have a love for mini albums. well that and what else am i going to do with all this paper! lol. i jsut got photoshop for christmas and ive been addicted to it ever since. i might even take on the huge task of redoing my sons baby albums. old tape has worn off and everything is jsut sitting in the pocket protectors at the bottom. plus that was before digital and i have no copies of any of those photos!

Community Designers

Meet our generous and talented community designers working in the Pixel Scrapper Commons!

The Pixel Scrapper Commons is an area where community members of all levels can upload and share designs they create, while getting feedback and progressing as designers.

  2. Hi! I am married, no children. Worked full time as a system administrator for a large university and was fortunate to retire in January 2016. Exceptionally fortunate since I developed severe fibromyalgia a few years before retirement. I love making elements! Either from extractions or from commercial templates or from templates of my own design. And the best pain relief from my fibro symptoms. I have some *personal use* freebs in the Pixel Scrapper forums and would love for you to check them out and tell me how they work for you, what you would like to see improved and what kind of kit you wish someone would make that you have always wanted and I will try to make it for you.

  3. I'm a former career girl, now stay-at-home mom of 3, 4 if you count my fur baby, a pug. I love digital scrabooking, photography, travel, running, and anything outdoors.

  4. I am from Georgia and currently live in a town that is just minutes away from the beaches of Florida and the Okefenokee Swamp. I use PSE14 for my layouts and creations. My other hobbies include rock painting and hunting, sewing, crafts and genealogy. I am a Nana of 9 and the resident Treat Lady to 4 Dogs, 2 Hermit Crabs and 3 Chickens.

  5. I am 41 yr old mother of 5 and 1 granddaughter. I have been using Paint Shop Pro and Animation Shop for about 19 years. I am trying to learn how to make my own kits, which is how I came across this site. I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge. Thank you!!

  6. 2015: Mom to 4 awesome kiddos. Oldest is starting college in the fall, only son in middle school, youngest daughter and niece (who we raise) are both in kindergarten. My husband is super awesome and that makes up my perfect little family that I love so much. They are part of what makes digiscrap so fun for me. I love to decorate all my favorite photos. Love making mini paper albums as well. Photography is also a favorite hobby and I'm in the midst of a project 365, so I have lots of photos to scrap.

Aside from scrapping all my photos, I like to design too. It comes and goes as inspiration hits (and the busyness of life slows down). Pixelscrapper has been a huge resource of learning for me. Hope to keep learning as time goes on and scrapbooking evolves.

I pretty much live in the virtual world since I work from home doing both accounting and web design/management. It's great to work from home, but can get lonely without all those noisy co-workers. Happy to have found the PS community to help fill the void. :)

  7. I a mum of 2.I have just started to digital scrapbooking.

  8. Hi. My name is Tina and I'm a digi scrapping addict! I started paper scrapping back in 2002 when my youngest son was 2 years old. I discovered digi scrapbooking in 2006 and never looked back. I live in Florida with my DH and our 2 boys and lots of animals!

  10. Completely in love with graphic art! Since last year I have enjoyed the wonderful universe Scrapbook!

  11. hi i love psp and taging as well as scrapbooking reading doing crafts old movies and tv shows have 4 grown kids 9 grands and 2 great grand glad to be here.joyce

  12. Hi - I'm Karry and I live in Montana. I have done traditional scrapbooks for some time and have only recently started scrapping digitally. I initially joined Pixelscrapper for the papers because I thought there were so many nice collections. I would print them out and use them in my own layouts or in mini-albums that I like to make. I've been using Photoshop for awhile but mainly just for photo editing. I have learned so much from the tutorials on this site and that is actually what started me scrapping digitally...so, THANKS PIXELSCRAPPER. I have a 1 1/2 year old boy and it seems now I am scrapping more things since I can do it on the computer which is great for our family in the long run. To me doing layouts with children couldn't be any more fun! I LOVE IT!

  13. I am 28 and live in Dunedin, NZ with my hubby, our son Riley, born in March 2010, and another boy on the way, due July 30. Am back into the work force after many years as a stay at home mum and I am loving the extra cash. Started digi scrapping when my boy was only weeks old and still love it. My current favourite is pocket scrapping and I have been printing and collecting journal cards, ready to go :)

  14. Hello everyone
I am Sharon (aka Shaz515) I am 56 years old and live in beautiful Western Australia on a lovely little 4 acre property in a sweet little country town. I am married with 3 adult children and 3 adult step-children, and 16 gorgeous grandchildren aged from 6 months to 17 years old. I started paper scrapping in 2006, but then discovered digiscrapping 5 years ago and have been in love with it ever since

  15. Hi! I'm Lori and live in Maine, where I'm a mom to 3 boys, age 20, 17 and 16 and an 11 year old black lab named Sadie. I have been teaching 6th grade for almost 30 years.... wow! (Just typing that makes me sound crazy lol!) I also work part time at a local gym. I have been digiscrapping for a little more than 10 years now and absolutely love it. I still dabble a bit in paper scrapping, mostly making cards... just can't quite bring myself to give up all of those supplies that I spent years accumulating, even though I never used half of them. ;) Of course, I will never use all the digi stuff I've got either... but at least it doesn't take up much space to store! :)

  16. Hello, I am so happy to bring you my PU products. I hope that you get much enjoyment out of them as I did in creating them.

I want to thank everyone who contributes on a daily basis to this wonderful website that Marisa and Jordan so cleverly designed. Their brilliance, love and passion for the craft brings so much joy to so many people. I'm glad that I can now be a part of this incredible journey.

    Thank you.

  17. Digi scrapper and designer since 2008, living in France with partner and 2 sons.

  18. Hi, I'm LaDonna! I have no formal training and all of my experience has been self taught. I have always been passionate about anything/everything involving art, creativity, and expression from writing to photography and scrapbooking, and graphic design. I enjoy Photoshop Elements 15. I'm not an expert. Not a beginner. I'm somewhere in between and continually learning something new daily. I use other programs as well as they all have different attributes that I like for different projects. I use Craft Artist 2 Pro as well as Affinity Designer. I am committed to eventually mastering Photoshop Illustrator!

  19. I am an ex entertainer, artist, designer, webmaster, and publisher
I run a number of websites about fashion, art, music, and more.
Hope to make some cool friends here.

  20. Mostly a graphics dabbler - even gave Blender and mesh a whirl. Mainly do art journal type projects and some digi-scrapping atm.

  21. i love photography and have played with it most of my life. i love digi-scrapping layouts and designing too. i'm very thankful for this site and have been using the freebies since 2010-ish :)

  22. I am a mother of 2 girls, the first daughter showed me scrapbooking and now I love it. Creative design helps me the bad phase of my illness to master. The the last 25 years I worked in publishing as a media designer.
Next year I'm 50 and know English only from school, it's bad - sorry!

  23. I have been digitally scrapbooking since about 2008. A couple of years ago I started designing my own scrapbook kits and posting them for free on my blog. Currently I am a designing member at Scrapbook Flair. I have absolutely no training in designing so my previous kits were mostly extracted images from the many photos I take. I've just recently discovered gray-scale templates and actions for PSE…WOW I can't believe what these things let me do now!!! I set a challenge for myself earlier this year (2014) to post a free full page template on my blog at least once per week…so far so good! I am pleased to say that a few of those weeks I got more than one full page template created and posted. My profile pic is my granddaughter and myself enjoying some cheek to cheek time and playing with Photo Booth on the computer.

  24. I'm french and I love digiscrap too!

  26. I scrap when I'm not running around after my gorgeous but utterly exhausting little boys. It keeps me sane. Mostly.

  27. Hello! My name is Sonia and I love to draw, digital design and, above all, make digital scrap kits!

  28. I’m pretty simple. Love the quiet life. Doing my best, to do my best, for God and country. I live in a small farming town in Eastern Oregon since 2013. Previously I had spent 46 years in Alaska and upon retirement, moved to my new forever home. Family is very important to me. We have a small place of six acres, a few fruit trees, a few farm animals, and a few dreams. We love it here and do our best to be an asset to our small community. We have a lazy and fat yellow lab named Murphy, a crazy Himalayan cat named Oscar (the Grouch), and a blind cat name “cat-cat” who is more than 18 years old. We take out the RV as often as we can.
I enjoy many hobbies including photography, gardening, crochet, beading, polymer clay, reading and writing.
My passion for graphic design fits right in with my mission to capture the stories and photos of past generations. I am married to a great guy, and we have a blended family of seven grown children and 14 grandchildren...

32. married, stay-at-home mom of 16 yr old Kaleb (Asperger's), 3 inside kitties ~ love to read, digital scrapbook, quilting, cross-stitch and sometimes do various other crafts

Makes many daily activities quite frustrating but at least I have this creative activity to use as an outlet for those negative feelings. ;-)

  34. Hi! I'm excited to be a part of the Commons! I'm a wife, mom of 2, full-time college student, and I am also a home-based business owner - I am a Paparazzi Accessories consultant, and I also make wax melts, soap, and other bath and body products (company name is Creative Scentworks).

I have sold my designs in the past but now I love to be able to give them away for free, so I hope you enjoy what I have to offer!

  1. I am a retired secretary and live with my husband just outside of London, England. I am married with two grown up children and three little grandsons.

  2. I wear a lot of different hats, but my favorites are wife, to my wonderful husband and best friend, mother to my 6 beautiful children, 3 grown and 3 at home, and Nana to 8 precious grand babies! :) My husband and I are Baptist missionaries in Manta, Ecuador. We have been in Ecuador for 23 years. Our 3 oldest girls are married, 2 living in the US and 1 working with us here. God blessed our family with 3 precious children through adoption. Ages 12, 10, & 9. They keep me young! ;) Besides scraping, I enjoy decorating my house, cooking, reading, and playing games with my children. I am involved in ladies ministries at our church and also home school our 3 at home, so I always seem to be busy!

I started paper scrapping, over 15 years ago, and switched to digital about 5 years ago. I just recently started doing some CT work, and that has inspired me that I just might like to do a little bit of designing myself, although at this point, I don't have a clue as to how to go about that! LOL!!

  3. When I found this site last year I was a stay at home mom with 3 boys (ages 2,17 and 20 now). I started digital scrapbooking because it was too hard to take out my traditional supplies with the little guy trying to "help". It helped me stay sane in that hecktic time in between worrying about money and running the baby to his constant appointments.(he's a preemie) Now that health concerns are minimal I have returned to work transporting people with disabilities. It makes it hard to find time for scrapbooking since I typically work 48-60 hours a week but I love the stress relief being creative gives me. I hope to put together my own digital kit eventually.

  4. Mom to two, dreaming of a drama-free life, scrapping is the way I relax and unwind. :)

  5. I am an English psychologist and social worker, recently retired. In my professional life I had a special interest in people with autistic spectrum disorders.
I love patterns. I make a lot of kaleidoscopes with Corel PaintShopPro, which can also be tiled to make scrapbooking papers. I also make scrapbooking papers and elements from anything I find.

  6. Completely in love with graphic art! Since last year I have enjoyed the wonderful universe Scrapbook!

  7. I'm a mother of a very active boy! I've been scrapbooking since he was born and started designing a little after that. I also work full time and scrapbooking is my main way of relaxing (besides reading).

  8. Hi, I am Suzzi living outside Stockholm, Sweden in a old house with my 6 year old son, man, dog and cats. I am addicted to making scrapbooking photobooks as a memory to my son.

I like my layouts clean and simple and keep the photo in focus, I think it is so much easier to look thru the photobooks that way :)

  9. I'm a stay at home mom of 3 girls. I love being able to scrapbook on my computer with all the digital photos I have of my family.

  10. Hello everybody. I am so happy to have found this community it's been a helpful website. I started scrap booking in 2008 and I just started learning how to work my Photoshop this year. What an endless possibilities. My husband and two children keeps me busy. I love taking photos and of course what a better way to keep all the memories....I want to thank you all for your ideas and creative minds and lets keep scrapping.

  11. I am a SAHM of two wonderful children, ages 14 & 3. I am interested in scrapbooking and have just recently decided to try my hand at making cards. I haven't made any digital scrapbooking pages before now but am very interested in learning how to do it.

  12. 04/23/2015: time for an update. Retired for almost a year, I love to spend more time with my grandchildren now with 4 boys and 1 girl. Unfortunately we don't see the baby girl very often as they live a bit too far to make it convenient for regular visits. I stay updated via Facebook and most of the photos of her come from there so the quality is a bit undesirable. Still loving scrapping and hoping to rediscover my other hobby, stamping. Pixelscrapper is a great place to hang out!

  13. im 39 year old mom to 4 stepmom to one and grandma to one. I live in arkansas. I love crafts, digital scrapbooking, disney and reading

  14. Hi, I'm Shannon. I live in a small, rural community north of Toronto, Ontario, Canada with my husband, David and our daughter, Keira. I discovered digital scrapbooking a few years ago, and although I don't have much time for it between work and sports, I'm totally hooked! I love photography and making mini-scrapbook albums for my friends of their kids. Our precious baby girl has finally arrived and I'm currently trying to find time to scrap some of my favourite moments from the hundreds of pictures I take every day!

  17. My hobby is card-making and pocket style scrapbooking. I am a greeting card-front download designer at craftsuprint.com where you print, cut and layer instead of the stamping style of card-making. I use HP Instant Ink Program and pay only $5 a month for 100 sheets...Must have a qualifying printer...visit here if you want to have hassle free, cheap ink: http://try.hpinstantink.com/dzRBt)
I am married to a real sweetie (23 yrs), have 1 birth son and 2 sons adopted from Guatemala.
I love the Lord, and try to do his will.
Enjoy watching one son play at soccer games, the other shooting sports competitions.
We live on a farm with cows, & chickens. I drive a special ed school bus, and I am currently in the progress of re-doing our house... painting, flooring, etc., just doesn't seem to be enough hours in a day.

  18. Hi, I arrived here as a card maker looking for digital crafting products, however, looking through the wonderful gallery inspirations I feel inspired to get back to scrapbooking which I haven't done for a few years. I love all things creative and more than ever use my creativity to maintain some quality in my life as I now live with Fibromyalgia. There is a link to my blog which talks all about this.

  19. I am from Ukraine. I love digiscrap. I love Ps & PsP. I love pixelscrapper.com

  21. I am a scrapbooker, crafter, baker, quilter, and reader. I am also a stay-at-home mom. I enjoy traditional scrapbooking, but since I've gotten into digital I don't do as much. I recently got a Silhouette and a Gelli plate and I've had so much fun experimenting with those. Recently, my scrapbooking style has gotten messier (more art-journalingish), paintier and mixed-mediumer.

  23. I am a wife, mother and grandmother, a fiber artist as well as a scrapper, and I have a great passion for lace.

I am a traditional scrapper at heart, loving to work with the physical products whether making full size layouts, or pocket scrapping.
I have been exploring the digital side of scrapping more since I've been playing here, but I know I will never give up the other. I often work hybrid projects by printing out items from digital files and incorporating them into my physical layouts.

I am so thrilled with the community here, and the beautiful kits the talented designers make available on this site.

  24. Crazy cat lady, loves books, games and TV series

  25. A forty-something former nanny who loves scrapping in both digital and hands on fields... I was a CM consultant for years & when travelling I started using digital scrapbooking as a way to put meaning to my photos before sharing them with family & friends. Born & raised in Australia, I now live in the UK with my lovely partner. Although we have no children of our own there are 6 nieces & nephews & lots of other children in our lives so we feel very blessed. There is much to journal about & enhance in my world!

  26. I'm a schoolteacher and proud mommy to a one year old son. I love digital scrapbooking and can't wait to learn even more as part of the PixelScrapper Community.

  27. SAHM of 2 boys

  28. Daughter, wife, sister, mother, friend, and grandmother loving life in Oklahoma!

  29. I am a crafter, pastor's wife, and homeschooling mom of six. I'm very active within my church and community.

That's just about everyone! At Pixel Scrapper we believe in encouraging creativity, generosity, and a spirit of abundance. Check out the Pixel Scrapper Manifesto if you're interested to learn more about our dreams and vision!
