The Pixel Scrapper Team

Meet the amazing Pixel Scrapper team! We don't have an application page right now, but if you're interested in joining us for any of the positions below, we post call outs in the forums from time to time: so your best bet is to keep an eye on things, and be active in the community!

Fearless Leaders

Marisa first started Pixel Scrapper as a hobby site in 2010. In 2012 she got Jordan to come on board as webmaster and systems administrator.

  1. Hi There! I’m Marisa Lerin and you’ll see me around at Pixel Scrapper a lot. I started this site in 2010 soon after I discovered a new love in digital scrapbooking. Pixel Scrapper has gone through some significant changes since that time and it’s grown into this lovely community site you are seeing now. I am daily surprised by the turn of life’s events that has led me down this path. If you're new to the site, welcome! Here are a few tidbits about me that I hope will help you get to know me better!

I’m originally from Minnesota, USA, but spent a good chunk of my childhood living abroad (in Bolivia and Hong Kong). I returned to Minnesota to attend university, got married and then moved overseas again (Korea, then Jordan and 1 year of traveling). My designs are heavily influenced by these many nomadic years. I am currently back in the USA, now living in the great state of Oregon!

I have no official training for what I’m doing, since I decided very wisely (haha) to study physics in university. I am always learning new things about digital scrapbooking, and this community has been immensely helpful for that!

If I manage to stop digital scrapbooking you will probably find me watching TV, reading or baking. I also enjoy writing for the blog here at Pixel Scrapper where I talk about whatever happens to be catching my fancy at the moment.

  2. I'm married to Marisa Lerin. I don't do much digital scrapbooking myself, but I am passionate about creativity, visual design, technology, and the web. I also help to run this website!

Junior Webmaster

Thani is is our junior webmaster extraordinaire and customer support ninja!

  1. Hi! I'm Jordan's youngest brother. I grew up in North Africa and the Middle East and have spent much of my life popping from place to place. In recent years I graduated from a smallish university in western Tennessee where I studied a little bit of everything but primarily English literature and also performed in many plays. I'm on the tech side of things on the site, but am all about creative endeavors in general! For the time being I live in Northern California. I like too many things, but some of my favorites are adventures and the simple pleasures of life, both enjoyed with people I love!

Designers

Our designers are super talented and super tight: friends who met right here at Pixel Scrapper! Click on their profile pictures to see their designs and learn more about them.

  1. I have been around the digital scrapping world since it began! And I've been a web designer & developer since 1996. I was always an artist, drawing and even making my own paper dolls as a kid. I was also very obsessed with the Victorian era when I was a kid & still love all things 19th century. I also love history, genealogy, archaeology & photography.

Outside of scrapping I've been married to my wonderful DH 20 years this coming March, have 4 living children & 2 baby boys who were born sleeping. We currently live in an antebellum home built circa 1830's ~ so we are often busy with restoration projects. I'm always finding buttons, china & pottery shards and other misc old artifacts which many I have been including in kits. To find what I have so far search with the quotes for "jd-antebellum" here on pixelscrapper.

  2. Hi, I’m Brooke Gazarek from Ohio, USA. I'm a graphic designer and I also design here at Pixel Scrapper. I use multiple types of medium, to create fun and exciting results.

I am also wife to a wonderful, loving, and supportive husband and mom to two energetic boys.

  3. I came to digital scrapbooking by way of Project Life, which I did in physical form for the first year and then tried out doing digitally, and became hooked for life on digital documenting. I made my first designs to share as contributions for Pixel Scrapper blog trains, and am thrilled to now be part of the Pixel Scrapper design team! I create products for digital pocket scrapbooking and traditional scrapbooking, and want to support people however I can in creatively and easefully documenting their lives.

You can follow along with my Project Life adventures (and find past blog train goodies and other freebies) at my blog, Scrumptiously: http://eversoscrumptiously.wordpress.com/

  4. Hey there,

I'm Janet. I was born and raised in Minnesota. My favorite title is mommy to two of the smartest, most beautiful, spunky, sweet girls out there. When I'm not taking care of the little peanuts, I run my photography and design businesses.

I stumbled across Pixel Scrapper early on when it was first started (before it became the site that it is today). Ironically, I ended up messaging Marisa to see if I could help contribute. I wanted to find a way to give back. Little did I realize that years later I would end up being fortunate enough to join this fab team! :)

  5. I'm a tea drinking scrap-addict that can often be seen holding a camera in my hands.

  6. Wife and mother of two, a graphic- and webdesigner by day and scrapaddict by night!

  7. Hello!
I am Elif, face behind Sahin Designs.I am a self-educated graphic designer who loves scrapbook and photography. My design history is fairly new yet I can't tell how much I love to learn new things each day. Pixel Scraper is my first place where I started designing, actually to be correct it is where I started scrapbooking! And I love this place, fellow designers and the PS community where everyone is so helpful and full of love!

  9. I am a dedicated stay at home mom to a most awesome husband and 4 amazing children. My husband and I have been married for 20 years, and my children are my everything. My most favorite thing in the world to do apart from family time is design. I've been into scrapbooking forever, but started the digi world of scrapbooking for about 5 years now, and started designing about 2 years ago. I also love reading to, playing with, and homeschooling my little ones. We are in the military, so we have also traveled a lot, but I am happy to be finally settled here in Alabama and retiring this year!

Moderators

Our moderators are super friendly, super active community members who keep our forums running like a well-oiled machine! Now if only Jordan would help them out by implementing forum search...

  1. I love to scrap. I scrap in both digital and traditional. I got into scrapping about 17 years ago because I absolutely love photography and was working on my husbands and mine genealogy at the time. I am a self-professed "pin"aholic on Pinterest!!!

  2. I'm digital scrapbook designer. As an artistic soul I love creating beautiful designs allowing me to express myself. I share my passion for creation at Sunshine Inspired Designs. My adventure with digital scrapbooking started while my husband and I decided to travel indefinitely and traditional scrapbooking wasn't an option any more. I fell in love with it so much that I decided to create my own kits and share them with everyone who loves scrapbooking as much as I do.

I'm also passionate about animals and photography, so it only seemed natural to start photographing them! In addition to my work as a photographer, I hold a degree in Environmental Biology from Gdansk University, Poland. I’ve worked with many amazing animals throughout my years as an animal care giver, pet sitter, volunteer, and trainer.

I love the mountains and being outside

I went to Africa for a whole day once

I have an awesome husband named Bill

I love to look at pictures, my own and everyone else's

I randomly open fridges - yep - everywhere I go - I don't even know why and most of the time I open it and close it and can't even tell you what was in there - maybe it is my subconscious making sure I will have food if I am stuck there for a few days - very strange - I don't get it

  4. I have been married for almost 38 years, have 3 adult children, nine grandchildren, and two hairless (Chinese Crested) dogs. All my life, I wanted to be an artist but I became a nurse. I worked in the medical field for 25 years but it was never my passion.. so I traded a career for happiness.

Today, I freelance as a graphic designer, photographer, and videographer. I am self taught though I am not very good at following tutorials. No job is ever 100% complete because there is always something that can be improved upon. That being said, my style is forever evolving.

Many of my designs can be mixed and matched so be sure to check out my previous uploads.

If you love my designs, I am happy. If you don't love them, I am still happy because I am doing what I love.

  5. Hi! I'm Jordan's youngest brother. I grew up in North Africa and the Middle East and have spent much of my life popping from place to place. 6. Hi, I'm Shannon. I live in a small, rural community north of Toronto, Ontario, Canada with my husband, David and our daughter, Keira. I discovered digital scrapbooking a few years ago, and although I don't have much time for it between work and sports, I'm totally hooked! I'm learning more and more from the Pixel Scrapper community and love sharing my projects and gaining inspiration from others'.

  7. Hello! My name is Lorien and I am a thirty-something years-old from São Paulo, Brazil, married for almost a decade, and proud kitten mom.
I got in contact with Pixel Scrapper before it was the amazing site you´re seeing, when I was looking for some assets for hybrid scrapbooking. I enjoyed it so much that I´m on this site since the closed beta. I was a beginner back then and I learned a lot here, and soon became forum moderator as a way to give a little back. It was because of Pixel Scrapper that I started designing too. It prooved a really useful skill for my small craft business.

  8. I enjoy digital scrapping. I actually do both digital and paper scrapping. Something I have been doing for years.
I enjoy researching my families past. Have made many contacts and connected with family members I did not even know existed. I have been compiling history, pictures and documents to date.
I am a designer, web designer, and a Professor at our local College.

    Happy scrapping.

  9. Wife and mother of two, a graphic- and webdesigner by day and scrapaddict by night!

  10. A mini-biography: Born and raised in the upper Midwest, lived in both rural and urban areas, disabled at age 30, have been in eastern Tennessee since 2009. Divorced, but dating an incredible man that I hope to spend the next 50-60 years with. I have a son who'll be 24 this year, who's a US Navy submariner.

I've been collecting scrap freebies for a while, making layouts for my photography scrapbook and more recently a toddler niece. I tend to be sort of seasonal with my interests, as photography in the cold aggravates fibromyalgia, and too much sunlight triggers lupus flareups--so I scrap a lot in summer and winter and enjoy spring and fall outdoors, often with a camera in hand. If I'm not shooting photos, training my mobility dog, or designing (mostly commercial-use items for my shop), I'm probably either watching anime or playing Steam games or one of several tabletop RPGs with my gaming group.

Upload Helpers

These ladies are the super heroes of Pixel Scrapper! Since day one, we've had a dream of free daily download credits, and making all our designs available for individual download; well, these upload helpers are the ones who make that dream possible!

  1. I am from Georgia and currently live in a town that is just minutes away from the beaches of Florida and the Okefenokee Swamp. I use PSE14 for my layouts and creations. My other hobbies include rock painting and hunting, sewing, crafts and genealogy. I am a Nana of 9 and the resident Treat Lady to 4 Dogs, 2 Hermit Crabs and 3 Chickens.

  2. I'm married to a wonderful man and we have two fur-babies. I have no children but I'm an aunt several times. I have made several digital gift albums and calendars, but my own albums are still paper scrapping since I have printed pictures from before I discovered digital. I am taking photography class to learn how to use my poor little-used DSLR.

  3. I'm a 3d Mesh Clothing designer, i also texture and and design 3d mesh furniture for 3d virtual games.
    I also love scrap-booking as a hubby.

  4. Hi. My name is Tina and I'm a digi scrapping addict! I started paper scrapping back in 2002 when my youngest son was 2 years old. I discovered digi scrapbooking in 2006 and never looked back. I live in Florida with my DH and our 2 boys and lots of animals!

  5. Wife and mom to three cute kids. They are the stars of my scrapbooking layouts! I am also a digital scrapbook designer designing as Day Dreams 'n Designs. I love digi-scrapping & designing, card-making, reading, and playing with my kids in our awesome park-like backyard!

  6. I like to bake. and i am thirteen years old.

  7. Retired in Dec 2011 and finally have time to get into digi-scrapping! First PSE classes taken in June so finally understood how to make a layout. Lots of hobbies: ceramics, crocheting, cross stitch, sewing (especially baby doll clothes for grand nieces) and want to learn to knit!

  8. I love photography and have an addiction to photoshop! I have extensive knowledge of photoshop and teach workshops from my home in both photography and photoshop editing.

I love sewing and crafting in general. Creating handmade gifts bring such joy to both myself and of course to the recipient. I often create my own props and costumes for my photo shoots.

We enjoy traveling to see the beauty in the world, and it gives us the opportunity to experience new cultures and people. My ultimate wish would be to visit every country on this glorious earth!
I'm thankful and grateful for all of the people in my life, and for the experiences I've had.

  9. I am new to designing stationary and invitations. I haven't tried my hand at creating my own papers and graphics, but look forward to the day I have photoshop and can learn how to use it. Right now, designing birthday, and other party, invitations is a hobby and as a SAHM it gives me some me time. I get a ton of gratification out of creating something that I know the recipient loves.

  11. I am a Baptist missionary pastor's wife, mom of three and grandmother of 7! I am from USA and we have lived and worked in northern Japan since 1983. I love digital scrapbooking, card making, playing two different instruments, baking, singing, oil painting, and pottery making.

  12. I love digital scrapbooking and am a member of several Creative Teams, including Marisa Lerin's. I am from the Philippines and go by the name lawyerlyn in the digiworld.

  13. I am a "dummy" account, created solely to help designer, Melo Vrijhof, with "stocking her shelves".

  14. Hello, I'm a proud mother of 2 beautiful, smart & amazing girls (well teenagers). Around here everyone calls me Lisa Hope..us country folk love to have two names..lol!! When I'm not running here & there to basketball games, track meets, softball games, volleyball games, girl scout meetings & all the many things my 2 are in..I am resting & working on my scrap projects.

I always have a camera in my hand & have become known as the local photographer around my parts. I snap a shot of everyone & everything I possible can. I am very active in my church & community & keep a strong faith. So all of my time is very well taken up all day & nights.

I love scrap booking, have for years now. Like everyone, I started with the paper scrapbooks years ago even before my girls were born...but then I found the digital world & I was hooked. Seems like I live on the internet. Sometimes I sit & think what in the world did I use to do when I was younger & the internet wasn't around..lol!! Almost as though the world stops at our house & things just goes crazy when it is down.

I love sharing what I can. After all the time & money I have put into gathering scrapbooking supplies, both digital & paper, my goal is too help allow others find things easier & faster for their use. I have been designing graphics since 2014, but not in the digi scrapbooking world until 2017.

I have become known as LEA Art Designs & I do what I do for fun, enjoyment, making new friends & relaxing. I can only pray that I become good enough, even if it's just a small bit, as all of the amazing designers here.

Anyway, I am excited about all the new people I am going meet & the new adventures I will find here. Everyone have a blessed & happy day...BIG HUGS to all!!

  15. November 4, 2017: With regards to my designs here at Pixel Scrapper, I've made a decision (though, it is possible that I could change my mind again - I'm good at that), to concentrate on updating (for quality) all of my older products to upload to the commons before starting any new designs (like blog trains, etc.)...hoping to instead catch up on my own scrapping needs when I get the urge to be creative.
    ------------------------------------------------------------

Married (to the best man in the world- I truly believe that!), mother of 2 boys, also a bereaved parent...my first child was born with a severe seizure disorder which profoundly stunted his development. He was fully disabled, both physically and cognitively, throughout his short life of 13 years. My second son is over twenty years and still lives at home with his father and I.

I've been designing digital scrapbook products since 2009 and although I was a designer at a store for 3 years starting in 2010, I didn't like having to work so hard for so little payback; I much prefer doing it for the joy it gives me and others; I was so very pleased when I found this site and read their manifesto...exactly what I have always felt. I grew-up in a "creative" home; my father was a professional artist and photography hobbyist; my mother was always doing crafty things, she taught me sewing, crocheting, knitting, etc. I worked with computers for years before they became household items, so, when I discovered digital scrapbooking in 2008; it was a natural fit for me.

In January, 2008 I discovered that I had only 3 months until my niece's wedding shower and since I wanted to create a genealogical scrapbook as my gift, I knew there would be no way I could meet that deadline using the traditional paper scrapping method... so off I went searching for a way to do it digitally...that's when I discovered the world of digital scrapbooking. Like so many others before me, I was immediately hooked on this past-time. By April 2013, I decided to give up selling my designs and return to giving them away freely. My original plans were to also create some tutorials on the subject as I also have a professional background in developing 'Computer Based Training' BUT as what often happens with PLANS, Life can get in the way...in July, 2013, I survived a CVA (aka stroke). Even after months in hospital acute rehabilitation and a rehabilitation nursing facility, I am now a left-sided hemiplegic (left side of my body is paralyzed - head to feet, everything left of center). Makes many daily activities quite frustrating but at least I have this creative activity to use as an outlet for those negative feelings. ;-)

  16. My name is Kayl, pronounced like the leafy green kale. I'm 26 and living in Sweden with my husband Fredrik. We just had our first surviving little one, Alexander, born Feb 4th, 2018!

I'm still not sure I know what I'm doing when I create kits but I do enjoy trying and experimenting. :) Hopefully you enjoy my creations and can use them to scrap beautiful memories!

Creative Team

Meet some of our community's amazingly talented layout makers! Click on their profile pictures to check out their beautiful creations. These ladies provide a huge amount of inspiration for everyone here at Pixel Scrapper!

  1. I am a single mom to an amazing 13-year-old son. He keeps me on my toes and active. We live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest along with our fur baby, Sheamus the Puggy. I have been digiscrapping for 13 years and love it. I have finally accepted the fact that I am a digiscrap addict and I am ok with that. No 12-step program for me as I am quite happy in my active addiction. I am an Instructional Assistant/Content Specialist at my son's wonderful alternative, "outside-the-box", private school where I teach reading, run the AR (Accelerated Reading) Program, oversee the library and work one on one with children who have autism and Down Syndrome and just need a little extra assistance. I also participate in quite a bit of community service. Service to others is my passion.

I am a collector of Funko Pop! Vinyls; I am a F.R.I.E.N.D.S. fanatic (PIVOT!); I love love love Nikki Sixx (and even have him in Pop! form); lemonade runs through my veins, not blood; strawberry mochi and peaches with chia seeds are my favorite snacks; VW buggies (old & new) make me smile and I have owned three, my first car was a '69 Bug, my second car was a '72 Super Beetle, and I now own an '03 convertible New Beetle; Pacific Northwest beaches are my own private heaven; vintage Shasta trailers (with the wings) make my heart dance (and I intend to own and refurbish one soon); and ugly (which is subjective, of course), "naked" animals make me happy (naked mole rates, skinny pigs, sphynx cats, Chinese crested dogs, featherless fowl...)

My life is a great big ball of controlled chaos and I wouldn't want it any other way!

  2. I have always been playing around with photos and layouts from the time I got my first digital camera in the 1990s. My children (all grown now) remember me making photo pages and books from summer vacation pictures when they were very young. I spent most of my life (first half-century) in Saskatchewan Canada but now live and work in the South Pacific.

  3. I have a been a scrapbooker for over 20 years. I started out with all the physical supplies and still have a decent stash in the basement but then switched over to digital when that became the next big "thing." I love the versatility of digital. I have 4 children, a wonderful husband, 1 grandson and 2 dogs.

  4. i love scraps and foto's

  5. Hi! I'm 45 years old and live in Minnesota, USA. I really love scrapbooking. I scrap both with paper and digitally and love them equally. I work as a Decorative Artist which basically is painting murals & other pieces on people's walls. It's a great creative outlet and I can set my own hours which is really nice! I just found this site, and fell in love with the community feeling of it (nevermind the great kits)!

  6. I'm a sahm of two beautiful little girls. Love to digital scrapbook and design :) I use to run a site on Myspace called Baby Face Creations. Now I just use scrap-booking at a creative outlet.

  7. I'm a 55-year-old, wife of Freddy for 33 years, mother of two daughters, Lacy-25 (Shawn-27), and USMC LCpl Anne-22, Grammy to Kolten Cooper-5, Caddie-2, and Hunter-2mos, fur-mommy to Harley-1 our Chug (Chihuahua-Pug), MOTO-Marine Mom, KIA-driving, book-reading, music-collecting, computer-surfing, wine-drinking, photo-snappin', SCRAPBOOKING DIVA! Crazy!
I've just started "designing" some digi-scrap items, mainly for the PS Blog Trains. I'm thrilled that so many people give me such wonderful kudos for my pieces even though I will never compare to some of the amazing designers here. Scrapbooking is creative outlet and secret place of sanity. My major scrapping accomplishments include our Grandson Kolten's First Year Album (126 pages.....first grandchild, yeah I went overboard!). I just finished our granddaughter Caddie's ABC Album (since she didn't live with us, I was able to stay more realistic about this one). Memory albums for my Gram and my Dad. Honor albums for my Hubby and my Mom. I am now working, somewhat sporadically on my own All About Me Album, while continuing to create pages for our family annual album.
If you don't know enough about me by now, you never will............ Oh yeah, I tend to be sarcastic.........
My occupation doesn't even begin to describe what I do............SPED Para, MA Billing Specialist, AT Specialist, MTAS Administrator, SPED ECSE Clerk.

  8. I'm a freelance editor, writer and photographer. I picked up cardmaking as an art hobby more than 25 years ago. That led to scrapbooking, but really took off when digital scrapbooking software started popping up on the market. Thanks to PixelScrapper, I have honed my design skills and do some small design jobs for hire, along with my regular editing and writing. I live in the beautiful state of Montana where I work from home and volunteer for a local non-profit called the Dylan Steigers Concussion Project. I also teach water aerobics at our local Women's Club. (Otherwise, I might sit on the couch all day designing!). Besides a passion for photography, I love sports, flyfishing, cardmaking, gardening, and walking. My goal is to try to learn a new technique or enhance existing ones every month so I can give back to this wonderful community of scrapbookers through the PS blog trains.

  9. I am a 30 something Christian, mother, wife, daughter, Art teacher, and I run an Etsy Shop that sells digital party printables.

  10. Mom of three adult children and Nana to one awesome grandson and one beautiful granddauther. Full-time wife, mom, Nana, student , Program Specialist and crafter. Is there enough time in the day for all of that? Of course, it's all about priorities.

  11. www.pixelscrapper.com/tonje-gram/gallery

Hi.. my name is Tonje, 43 years old.. and I`ve been scrapping for about 10 years.
My style is mostly contemporary, clean, airy, but I've been dabbling with blending and are curious about Art Journal.
Too much 3D and fantasy style doesn't fit me. But I love trying out new things.. and often join challenges.

My native language is Norwegian and I live in.. Norway!
Yes, that tiny country in north.. with Fjords and all..
To compensate for being such a tiny country.. we've got high mountains..
but they doesn`t do much for me.. since I live by the coast..
In a tiny city called Sandefjord.. oh yeah it`s a Fjord here also.
We are about 2 hours, by car, south-west of the capital Oslo.

Please ignore my curly sentences (?) English is my second language.
The spellchecker brightens up my text with red lines..
    - but it doesn't help me with building sentences.

I just got myself a new PC, been saving for a year.. it`s awesome..
4 TB.. yes.. Terra Bytes.. Hard Disk.
Besides bragging about my new PC.. I love Sudoku, Photography (of course)..
I knit while watching films.. I read most genre except horror.. mostly I prefer Historical drama.
Oooh.. and 80% Dark Chocolate.. Addicted..
On my new shiny PC I`ve got tons of pictures taken in Peru,
and photos of our Garden (Hundreds of different flowers/plants/trees), our boat at sea..
+ family, friends, food, daytrips.. just to mention a few themes..
Got Photoshop CS3 and CS6 (but prefer CS3).

I have two sons.. but only one living at home (the oldest moved out..)
Felix, my youngest.. is so creative and often hangs over my back when I am scrapping
and comes with ideas and suggestions. You`ll see I make a scrapper out of him.
He is a bit socially awkward and has autism.. so we spend a lot of time together.. Just him and me.
Together we often go on trips and photograph.. we both have decent cameras
and it is a activity that doesn't require much social skills.
Lots of the pictures I scrap is taken by him..
and it makes him so proud to see pretty pages with his pics.

  12. Colour, light and texture... they make my world go 'round! Digital Production Manager by day, crazy mad scientist-like artist by night, not creating is like holding my breath! From old school scrapping and digital to sewing a dainty dress and repurposing an old man jacket into a hat, I'm always busy making, making making!

  13. I am a stay at home Mum to one little girl and a craft addict, I don't feel right if I don't get my crafting fix!I have always crafted in some form or another and tried my hand at all sort including glass painting, jewellery making, sewing, crochet, card making and scrapbooking. I discovered scrapbooking about 10 years ago and got hooked. After years of disregarding digital scrapping I had a sudden conversion in November 2013 and instantly became addicted. Now I can't believe I was so anti it before! As a full time Mum digital scrapping fits so much better into my life and budget at the moment but I will never give up all my lovely stash! I try to make digital layouts in the same style as I would paper ones and make then look as "real" as possible by only using elements which would work on a paper layout, adding shadows and using "glow" to recreate the inking I always add to my paper layouts! I look forward to exploring this new world and having fun here at PS.

At 18 months after I started on this digital adventure I am still loving it and have been accepted on to several Creative Teams, including here at PS! The next step is to try designing!

  14. I am Bina and I love scrapbooking and photography. And I am forever grateful to Elif who introduced me to Pixel Scrapper where everyone is so helpful and lovely. Apart from everything crafty, I love fishing and the sea, the outdoors, spending time with family and friends.
In a nutshell, like Brick Heck from The Middle in more ways than not, my idea of a perfect evening is much like his:

  15. A SAHM, Homeschool teacher with a passion to craft anything and everything! Live on the Eastern Shore of MD with my pastor husband, two children, and two fur babies!

  16. I started the crafting journey with my grandmother who taught me to sew. As life has evolved so has my crafting. A few years ago I began bible journaling and conducting workshops locally. As my passion and love for journaling evolved so did my passion for paper crafting which has lead me to making numerous crafty paper projects such as pocket letters, flip books, and junk journals. A mother of 2 girls bought of which are married and a grandmother of one special 3 year old.

  17. I'm a stay at home mom of 2, a boy 15 yrs old and a girl that is 13 (going on 21)! You can probably find me scrapping, blogging, designing, reading ebooks & watching design/scrapping tutorials! I admit I am a digi addict & I am on the pc way longer than I should be! Luckily the rest of my family is as well, we have just about every digital gadget known to man! I love being a part of Pixel Scrapper and am very happy I found Pixel Scrapper in the first place!

  18. I love to read and travel (camping and cruising) and digi scrap about our travels.

  19. 04/23/2015: time for an update. Retired for almost a year, I love to spend more time with my grandchildren now with 4 boys and 1 girl. Unfortunately we don't see the baby girl very often as they live a bit too far to make it convenient for regular visits. I stay updated via Facebook and most of the photos of her come from there so the quality is a bit undesirable. Still loving scrapping and hoping to rediscover my other hobby, stamping. Pixelscrapper is a great place to hang out!

  21. Greetings! I am from Chapel Hill, NC (USA) and have recently become completely addicted to anything and everything remotely associated with digital scrapbooking. I have no children of my own (unless you count the 2 furry creatures that share my house and beg for food), but I thoroughly spoil any tiny humans I can get my hands on. I have been tagging and designing web pages for tournaments in gaming leagues for several years, but I am relatively new to scrapbooking. I'm branching out and trying my hand at creating an entry for the blog train soon, so you'll be hearing a lot more from me in the future! One question....how do you STOP once you've started creating papers?...I mean, first day of designing and I look up from my creative coma to find that I've made 60!!!!

  22. I am a Baptist missionary pastor's wife, mom of three and grandmother of 7! I am from USA and we have lived and worked in northern Japan since 1983. I love digital scrapbooking, card making, playing two different instruments, baking, singing, oil painting, and pottery making.

  23. I live in Central Ohio, USA. I am a mother of 4, 2 boys and 2 girls, ages 19, 17, 14, and 12. I am engaged to the absolute love of my life, Roy and he has 3 amazing boys, ages 11, 8, and 7, his youngest was actually in my preschool class when he was 3.

I graduated with an Associates degree in nutrition in May 2016. Working as a preschool teacher until I find my dream job. I have been paper scrapbooking since 2000 and digital scrapbooking since 2006. I also used to design, but went on hiatus during a divorce and then again during my schooling. Hopefully I'm back for good! You may have seen me in other forums as rachelbrein, scarlettcharm or Rachel Martin.

As a new Commons designer I wanted to point out that I only design full or mini kits, so as I am allowed to upload my graphics the full kits will emerge, so if a few new things seem out of place, please be patient, more coordinating pieces will come as I am allowed to upload more graphics per week! I used to always have so much trouble naming my kits that I decided to just name them like my children, with actual names. So you will also be able to tell what kits the pieces belong to based on the names.

  24. I recently discovered digital scrapbooking and absolutely love it! It really fits my life to be able to save a layout in the middle and walk away, no mess involved! I am mum to a 5-year old and currently studying for a degree in agriculture.

I LOVE scrapbook max, it is SO easy to create with. I have also used others. I live in Orlando FL and am a stationary full timer, which means I live year round in a RV resort, but do not travel, yet. 27. I'm Melanie, 37, from right outside Boston, Ma. I have been married to Rob for 12 years. We have 2 girls Olivia, 14, and Layla, 11. We are die hard New England Patriots fans who don't pronounce our "R's" and use the word "wicked" as an adjective, so basically the stereotypical Bostonian. I'm a lover of all things crafty, obsessed with "The Walking Dead" and most anything horror related! Graphic design intrigues me and I've learned most of everything I know from Google. I am proud to say I've never owned an iPhone, I am a true Android snob. I have 3 large containers of paper scrapbooking products, yet I have never completed even 1 paper page. While googling for paper scrapbooking ideas I came across digital scrapping and never tried to make a paper page again ( to be fair I have used the paper scrapping stuff for other things).

  30. Hi from sunny Brisbane, Australia!
Ive been scrapbooking since 2007. I started as a traditional scrapper but my style has evolved greatly since those early days. I didn't know anyone else who crafted until I found creative memories. While I loved the community I was a part of it never felt comfortable in that 'style'. I felt limited and eventually gave it away.
After the birth of my second child I felt drawn to the scrapping world again and quickly found it had changed. I dabbled with pocket scrapping then digital scrapping. I have since combined the two to make it my own.
I love the pixil scrapper. It has not only been an amazing resource (I always seem to be able to find that last little finishing touches here) but it has become a platform for me to share and be inspired by other amazing artists. Now that we also encompass hybrid scrappers I truly feel a part of this amazing community.

  31. Wife and stay-at-home Mom, living in Washington with my husband and son. Our son keeps me on my toes with schedules and sports and such, as does the job of home management. Occasionally I do work part-time outside the home as a caretaker of an autistic young man.
I absolutely LOVE hybrid scrapping, making cards, playing around with photography, and having deep conversations with family and friends.

  32. My experience in the digital graphics industry began a few years ago (2007 or so – does that count?), when I purchased a DSLR camera (Nikon D70s), mostly to capture my growing family and children as they participated in sports. I found myself tweaking the photos and loving it! Then I discovered digital scrapbooking (where I was previously using paper), which progressed into digital design when I couldn't find items I wanted! I really enjoy learning new techniques and designing definitely keeps me on my toes!

IRL (in real life), I provide IT support. I have previously been an instructor and trainer as well. I do love computers and most things technical and am always up for a good, technical challenge!

I have been married to my loving husband for 10 years and we have 3 children – ages 10, 17 and 19. Our family has one cat (Kitty), one dog (Hank) and one rabbit (Reese).

  33. I am a not-so-newbie to digital scrapbooking, but was hooked as soon as I started playing around with kits, fonts, and photos. I started taking photos when my oldest turned one year old, then started scrapbooking about a year after that. I now have three spunky little kids (two boys and a sweet little Sparkleheart) that keep me busy, and when I'm not tending to them, I'm chilling with my feet up on my computer or watching some wonderful television programs with the husband!!

  34. Hi, I'm Diana, 49 years old, living in Belgium, 31 years married and mother of 2 sons

  37. I am currently a stay-at-home grandma. I have spent the last 10 years partnered with my best friend of 15 years, and this coming August (2016) we will finally tie the knot! Boy, is he a patient man, or what?

Scrapping has become such an important and HUGE part of my life! I love the creative outlet it provides, as well as the wonderful people I meet and spend time with. I'm happy to be a part of the Pixel Scrapper community and look forward to getting to know everyone.

Community Designers

Meet our generous and talented community designers working in the Pixel Scrapper Commons!

The Pixel Scrapper Commons is an area where community members of all levels can upload and share designs they create, while getting feedback and progressing as designers.

  2. Hi! I am married, no children. A voracious reader, reading 4-5 books a week since I was a youngster devouring Nancy Drew mysteries. Now I spend a lot of time digging through public domain archives and snagging interesting books and magazines for reading and study. So many treasures to be found on the Internet!

Recently disabled/retired from a top 20 university where I was a sysadmin. Didn't know what I was going to do with myself, but I discovered digiscrapping and found that I absolutely love making elements and working with exotic textures. Most of my work starts out on my iPad, even the making of papers. Health issues prevent me from spending much time sitting at my computer. Luckily I have found that I can do just as much with my iPad as I can with Photoshop with the exception of applying styles.

  3. I'm a former career girl, now stay-at-home mom of 3, 4 if you count my fur baby, a pug. I love digital scrabooking, photography, travel, running, and anything outdoors.

  5. I am 41 yr old mother of 5 and 1 granddaughter. I have been using Paint Shop Pro and Animation Shop for about 19 years. I am trying to learn how to make my own kits, which is how I came across this site. I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge. Thank you!!

  6. I a mum of 2.I have just started to digital scrapbooking.

  7. Hi. My name is Tina and I'm a digi scrapping addict! I started paper scrapping back in 2002 when my youngest son was 2 years old. I discovered digi scrapbooking in 2006 and never looked back. I live in Florida with my DH and our 2 boys and lots of animals!

  8. Hi! My name is Renee Clark. I am a wife to a wonderful husband, and mom of 3 kids. My oldest is 15 and in 10th grade. My twins are 13 and are in 8th grade. We have an adorable, very large Goldendoodle named Max.

A local friend, Lisel Rice, introduced me to Pixelscrapper. That is how I landed here.

It has been quite a few years since I have done any kind scrapbooking. I'm excited to pick up digital scrapbooking. I served as a Design Team member for a couple of paper scrapbook companies before the crafting industry hit a low. Both of those companies went out of business, I lost my online community of scrappy friends, and with that, I also lost my mojo and stopped scrapbooking.

I worked at The Boeing Company for 10 years as a 2D and 3D artist developing Computer Based Training and that is where I picked up my initial Photoshop skills. Then I went to Microsoft and worked as a 3D artist on both of Microsoft's PC-based games Flight Sim 2001 and Combat Flight Sim 3. Seven days before my first kid was born I resigned from my career. It has been almost 16 years since I have been in the corporate world.

Today I own a small art studio in my local area. My studio is new and I'm trying to build it from scratch. It is called "CREATE Courageously" and I teach mixed media art (I LOVE using Super Heavy Gesso and Modeling Paste to create heavily textured designs). While that is where my heart is, I believe I will find some relaxing moments here, while scrapping digitally.

I look forward to meeting everyone here in the forums.

  9. Completely in love with graphic art! Since last year I have enjoyed the wonderful universe Scrapbook!

  11. Hi there! I'm Marjan (in English that would be Mar-i-an) and I'm from the Netherlands. I have one son, Dennis, he's 7 years old and will be 8 in January '19. I live in a city in the north of Holland, called Groningen with my family of 3. In my daytime job I'm a careworker for 3/4 days a week and I love it.

Apart from digiscrapping I have many other hobby's. I love drawing and painting (watercolour, acrylics, ink etc. but also digitally), reading, going outdoors, photography, (binge)watching my favorite movies and shows and I couldn't do without music and going to concerts and festivals.

I started digital scrapbooking way back in 2008/2009 and not long after that I started designing with Photoshop and PSP. Since then I've learned a lot about digiscrapping and creating my own layouts, albums and kits. I've had many breaks from scrapping, but somehow I always find my way back.

  12. Hi - I'm Karry and I live in Montana. I have done traditional scrapbooks for some time and have only recently started scrapping digitally. I initially joined Pixelscrapper for the papers because I thought there were so many nice collections. I would print them out and use them in my own layouts or in mini-albums that I like to make. I've been using Photoshop for awhile but mainly just for photo editing. I have learned so much from the tutorials on this site and that is actually what started me scrapping digitally...so, THANKS PIXELSCRAPPER. I have a 1 1/2 year old boy and it seems now I am scrapping more things since I can do it on the computer which is great for our family in the long run. To me doing layouts with children couldn't be any more fun! I LOVE IT!

  13. I love photography and precisely nature photos , with a preference for the dragonflies..so came I to scrapbooking.I live in Belgium.

On the photo you can see my two helpers by scraboolking: Max the parrot ans Saskia, the yougest dog

  15. I am 28 and live in Dunedin, NZ with my hubby, our son Riley, born in March 2010, and another boy on the way, due July 30. Am back into the work force after many years as a stay at home mum and I am loving the extra cash. Started digi scrapping when my boy was only weeks old and still love it. My current favourite is pocket scrapping and I have been printing and collecting journal cards, ready to go :)

  16. Hello everyone
I am Sharon (aka Shaz515) I am 56 years old and live in beautiful Western Australia on a lovely little 4 acre property in a sweet little country town. I am married with 3 adult children and 3 adult step-children, and 16 gorgeous grandchildren aged from 6 months to 17 years old. I started paper scrapping in 2006, but then discovered digiscrapping 5 years ago and have been in love with it ever since

  17. Hi! I'm Lori and live in Maine, where I'm a mom to 3 boys, age 20, 17 and 16 and an 11 year old black lab named Sadie. I have been teaching 6th grade for almost 30 years.... wow! (Just typing that makes me sound crazy lol!) I also work part time at a local gym. I have been digiscrapping for a little more than 10 years now and absolutely love it. I still dabble a bit in paper scrapping, mostly making cards... just can't quite bring myself to give up all of those supplies that I spent years accumulating, even though I never used half of them. ;) Of course, I will never use all the digi stuff I've got either... but at least it doesn't take up much space to store! :)

  18. Hello, I am so happy to bring you my PU products. I hope that you get much enjoyment out of them as I did in creating them.

I want to thank everyone who contributes on a daily basis to this wonderful website that Marisa and Jordan so cleverly designed. Their brilliance, love and passion for the craft brings so much joy to so many people. I'm glad that I can now be a part of this incredible journey.

    Thank you.

  21. Hi, I'm LaDonna! I have no formal training and all of my experience has been self taught. I have always been passionate about anything/everything involving art, creativity, and expression from writing to photography and scrapbooking, and graphic design. I enjoy Photoshop Elements 15. I'm not an expert. Not a beginner. I'm somewhere in between and continually learning something new daily. 23. New to scrapbooking, looking for inspiration.

  25. I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada with my husband and our daughter. I homeschool and in my spare time I like blogging, quilting and graphic design.

  26. Hello! I am a single mom, as my hubby was killed. I am the mother of 2 very special autistic children (a daughter who is 14 and a son who is 9), who are my world! Their strength against the adversity they face in their lives every single day, just trying to do simple things we often take for granted, warms my heart and fills my soul. They are the best part of me!
I also make digital scrap kits and commercial use images for other designers to use in their own scrap kits! I am known as the designer "Whisper in the Wind." I enjoy anything creative, even though scrap-booking is my favorite. It is like a meditation for me..I can get lost in my creating. I also enjoy crocheting, singing, exercising, cooking, and my paleo 310 lifestyle.
I try to be a light, and an inspiration to those around me. I try to give more than I take. I try to be a good friend, and a good mom. My hope, is that when I leave this world, my mark on it will be a positive one..and maybe, just maybe, I will leave my little piece of the world a bit better than I found it.

  27. Hello I'm Charlotte and I'm a digital scrapper for several years and still learning everyday. I use PSE14 en PS CS6 for my LO's and trying to make some digital supplies for myself. I also love art-journaling, hybrid and digital.

  28. I'm a mom of four small children with a love of family history and genealogy, so learning to digital scrapbook works perfectly for me by allowing me to share images of my babies and to share family history with relatives.

  29. Mostly a graphics dabbler - even gave Blender and mesh a whirl. Mainly do art journal type projects and some digi-scrapping atm.

  30. Mom to 4 awesome kiddos and wife to an amazing husband! I love to digiscrap, journaling, collage, and pretty much anything that lets me get my creative fix. I have a washi tape obsession (talking hundreds of rolls...eek!).

Aside from all that, I like to design too. It comes and goes as inspiration hits (and the busyness of life slows down). Pixelscrapper has been a huge resource of learning for me. Hope to keep learning as time goes on and scrapbooking evolves. :)

  32. I adore digital scrapbooking and sharing the hobby with others. I was instantly hooked on scrapbooking when I began paper scrapping in 2000, after the birth of my son, as it allowed me to record his childhood, which was especially important to me since I'm an adoptee and had no idea of my beginnings until age 34.

I inadvertently discovered that I had learned the basics for digital scrapbooking after creating graphics to dress up a Yahoo group page. I had drooled over the digital pages, with their brushes and fantastic photo effects, but actually went kicking and screaming into digital scrapbooking because, after all, it COULDN'T look as good as paper, right?

I threw myself into digital at that time and joined several online digiscrap communities. That led to CTing for designers and shops. I was creating lots of boy pages but found so few kits, and so I began creating what I needed. That progressed to designing kits, and I began selling online in 2009.

I've dabbled on and off in designing all these years, sharing or selling things I've created for my own pages, since my first goal is to keep up with my own pages, and as you know, we NEVER get caught up! I've become partially disabled in the past two years and am only able to work part time, so I now have more time to design and scrap than I normally do.

  33. I'm a librarian and writer who designs graphics as a hobby.

  39. I have been digitally scrapbooking since about 2008. A few years ago I started designing my own scrapbook kits and posting them for free on my blog. I still post some free things on my blog, and of course I have listed lots of things here on Pixel Scrapper in the Commons section, and most months I participate in the blog train. I do sell kits and templates at three online stores; Berry Applicious, Inspirations of Scrapfriends and Digi Graphic Designs. I CT for Booland Designs, Aimee Harrison Designs.

  42. I love everything about living in the Pacific Northwest. I love to spend free time with my hubby out hiking in the woods, visiting the coast, or sampling every small bakery we can find. A perfect day would be to do all three. The only way to top that would be to bring our grown daughter along for the adventure!

I've been scrapbooking since 1996 and am now fully addicted to digital scrapbooking. I love reliving the moments that were captured on camera and coming up with designs that bring the stories to life. I am currently working on 2006, determined to get caught up. My goal is to be caught up through 2010 by the end of this year (2018).

  44. I scrap when I'm not running around after my gorgeous but utterly exhausting little boys. It keeps me sane. Mostly.

  45. I am mom to a ASD 7 year old with LOTS of energy! (: I am passionate about animals!!! I've spent 8 years rescuing dogs in the Detroit area and helping community cats. About 4 years ago I began fostering cats but sadly had to take a break from fostering dogs. I'll be back tho doggies!! :)

I started scrapbooking in the early 90's moving over to digital about 9 years ago. I am forever making quick pages for the furkids (dogs & cats) in our rescues. I am in the process of deciding if selling graphics/kits would help financially support the rescues. Our pocketbooks are always empty but the need never seems to be. )= If you have any advice I would love to hear it!!

If I can manage to find time I also enjoy reading and gardening. I live in the greater Detroit area.

  46. Hello! My name is Sonia and I love to draw, digital design and, above all, make digital scrap kits!

  47. I am introverted and love the quiet life. Doing my best, to do my best, for God and country. I live in a small farming town in Eastern Oregon since 2013. Previously I had spent 46 years in Alaska and upon retirement, moved to my new forever home. Family is very important to me. We have a small place of six acres, a few fruit trees, a few farm animals, and a few dreams. We love it here and do our best to be an asset to our small community. I volunteer quite a bit in our small church. I teach sunday school crafts, act as the church clerk, church treasurer, track our missionaries around the world, and develop and print out our weekly sunday bulletin.
I enjoy many hobbies including photography, gardening, crochet, beading, polymer clay, reading and writing. I also love old movies.
I currently use Photoshop CS6 to design graphics. I enjoy the creative process of designing, and participating in Blog Hops is my favorite design project. I am married to a great guy, and we have a blended family of seven grown children and 14 grandchildren...

  48. Hi :)
I have been involved in all sorts of crafts and creative ventures my whole life. I was a graphic designer and currently have a lot of fun coloring for a webcomic. I enjoyed paper scrapbooking for years but after moving 13 years ago, and the advent of digital pictures, I lost my way a bit.
I have several chronic illnesses so I spend a lot of time on the computer and it helps me feel productive and stay in touch with others. I'm involved with animal rescue and have fostered many dogs and some kittens. It's very rewarding to know I helped save a little furry soul but some are hard to let go. Hence my family members include 2 dogs and a cat LOL.
My boyfriend and I and some family went to the UK and the desire to show off my pictures made me decide to plunge into digital scrapbooking and I'm having a ball! Thank you for such a wonderful community and all those who share a bit of themselves and their work here.

  49. I love everything creative! I'm a planner fanatic, journaller, bible doodler... and sometimes feel like an unorganized MESS! I love creating my own planner stickers and that's why I joined Pixel Scrapper. Looking forward to meeting all you creative geniuses!!

  50. SAHM who loves to be crafty - from making hair bows, creating mixed media paintings for family to learning to sew to make whatever comes to mind. Digital Scrapbook Designer along with other misc paper scrapbook designs. Previously designed under 'Made by Me Inspirations' but have taken that name back for my paper scrapbooking and am now digi designing under 'Meg Scott Studio'. I am a Pinterest junkie and love DIY projects - just need to find the time to finish my personal 'Honey - Me - Do' list.

  52. I work in Permanent Supportive Housing, helping people exiting homelessness and domestic violence to make a fresh start and have a successful, happy life. I enjoy art journaling, scrapbooking, swimming, playing with my dog, reading, writing, and gardening. I am a Distinguished Toastmaster and enjoy competing in speaking contests.

  53. I am a wife, mother and grandmother, a fiber artist as well as a scrapper, and I have a great passion for lace.

I am a traditional scrapper at heart, loving to work with the physical products whether making full size layouts, or pocket scrapping.
I have been exploring the digital side of scrapping more since I've been playing here, but I know I will never give up the other. I often work hybrid projects by printing out items from digital files and incorporating them into my physical layouts.

I am so thrilled with the community here, and the beautiful kits the talented designers make available on this site.

  54. Recent empty-nester who worked in government for 20+ years. Picked up the digital scrapbooking hobby because of the generations of family pics that need a story.

  55. I'm a disabled single mother of one 17 year old son, Christian. We live in a small town in Illinois, USA. I enjoy digiscrapping, designing digital scrapbook supplies, reading, playing games on my tablet, and spending time with my family.

  57. I'm an author, Artist, and Evil Genius, living in Southern NH.

Domestic violence survivor and women's advocate.

  58. I am a full time working wife and mother of three sons, ages 22, 21, and 8. I love all manner of crafting; From digital scrap-booking to tangible mixed media projects. I love to learn from other people and get exposed to the huge world of art.

Creativity is in my blood. I have always sketched pictures since I was a kid, and now with social media (Thanks YouTube, Pinterest, Google images, and PIXELSCRAPPER, etc....) I have become so overwhelmed with what project(s) to do for the day. I don't even know where to start. Should I make cards or make my own clay? Or should I design a wall hanging for the living room. I have become ridiculously indecisive with what I want to make.
Also, I have become a craft hoarder. From paints, to dies and other cutting machines, to scrapbook paper and other designer card stock and embellishments, I have turned my little kitchen nook into my craft studio. I'm surprised my husband hasn't told me to get rid of all of the craft supplies....ie..clutter.

My craft collection addiction is partially what made me want to learn more about digital scrap booking. It is all new for me, but I have invested in the Adobe Photoshop application and I have scoured YouTube on learning different techniques in layering scrapbook images, pages, brushes, and so on.

When I stumbled accross Pixelscrapper I was elated that you could get so many kits and bundles to make what ever you had in mind...and more!

Now I can go to the next level of design by doing it digitally.

  59. married, stay-at-home mom of 17 yr old Kaleb (Asperger's), 3 inside kitties ~ love to read, digital scrapbook, quilting, cross-stitch and sometimes do various other crafts

Makes many daily activities quite frustrating but at least I have this creative activity to use as an outlet for those negative feelings. ;-)

  62. Hi! I'm excited to be a part of the Commons! I'm a wife, mom of 2, full-time college student, and I am also a home-based business owner - I'm in two direct sales companies, and I also make wax melts, soap, and other bath and body products (company name is Creative Scentworks).

I do sell my designs on Etsy and at another online shop, but I also enjoy being able to give some away for free. I hope you enjoy what I've posted here!

Community Members

Of course, the heart and soul of Pixel Scrapper is our community of caring, generous, creative individuals! Our emphasis at Pixel Scrapper is on helping people connect as real people. Each week we pick a random sampling of active members to feature on this page.

  1. I've been a scrapbooking addict for a couple of weeks now bec. of pixelscrapper , although I tried digiscrapping occasionally before few years ago. The experience has been rewarding, as the journey is fun at the same time. Most of the subjects of my layouts are people and places that I love so much.

  2. New to digital scrapbooking!

  3. I am a teacher, married, with two lovely daughters whom I greatly respect and love unconditionally. My hubby is a great guy as he is very generous, kind and considerate of all my needs...There is no end he will go to for our girls & myself.
I love all things beautiful...and scrapping is a recent adventure of mine...I do not claim to be an expert but I do love decorating photos and jazzing them up!!!
I work 99% with MSPowerPoint & use photoshop occasionally only. I hope my work is satisfactory to anyone who views it...I would love to learn how to create digital scrapbooking stuff...maybe when I retire and can devote 100% of my time to learning how to!!
    O.K....take care and bye!

  5. I’m a 50-something divorced mother of one daughter, and we both live with my mum - I am my mum's carer, and was also my dad's until he passed away in July 2013. I’ve always loved arts and crafts, and have tried lots of different crafts over the years, including crochet, teddy-bear making, cross stitching, card making, and other paper crafts.

I have quite a substantial stash of beautiful paper, card and other bits and pieces - I was keen to try scrapbooking, but could never bear to cut into any of my pretty paper. I was only able to do the card making if I bought two pieces of paper the same – one to use, and one to keep (admire, stroke… you get the picture!)

As with all my hobbies, I started to buy scrapbooking magazines (ok, yes, I am a craft magazine-aholic!) Anyway, I started to see all these beautiful digital layouts – so that got me interested in digital scrapbooking. So, like many others, I started to download. And download. And download – but I still wasn’t brave enough to try scrapping! I tried some digital scrapbooking programs, but they were really glorified card making programs, and I quickly got frustrated with the amateurish results. Then I got PSE 11, and started to learn how to use the program……

And then I found Pixel Scrapper, and a whole new world opened up for me! The combination of quality digital supplies and tutorials was wonderful, but it’s the people who make this place so special. From Marisa & Jordan to the designers and all the other people who contribute to the running of this site, and to all the other members – I have never come across such a friendly, welcoming group of people. And now I’m so addicted that I can’t go a day without logging on and having a look at the beautiful things everybody is creating, downloading something, or chatting on the forums (would you believe I had never even read a forum before I came here, let alone posted anything!)

I only started digital scrapbooking at the beginning of 2014, and although I haven’t done very many layouts (I’ve been concentrating mainly on trying to organise my digital stash!), I have started in a very limited way to design papers to offer as freebies to other members, and even participated in my very first blog train (Autumn Art in October 2014).

So, as you can see, I am gradually building my skills with PSE, and really enjoying my participation in this site.

PIXEL SCRAPPER FOR EVER! (Can you tell I’m just a wee bit obsessed!)

  21. I am a scrapbooker, crafter, baker, quilter, and reader. I am also a stay-at-home mom. I enjoy traditional scrapbooking, but since I've gotten into digital I don't do as much. 24. I started here 6 months ago as a new digital scrapbooker, and it has officially taken over as my craft of choice. Thank you, designers, for inspiring me daily. :)
