About Me
I discovered digital scrapbooking through a magazine at my dentist's office when my girls were toddlers. I downloaded GIMP shortly thereafter, and the rest is history. My teenagers aren't nearly as cute to scrap now as they were then - but I still love documenting who we are as a family. And hey, occasionally now my layouts don't even include my kids :P
I sometimes even get to use the skills I learned digital scrapbooking for my work (I do communications for a nonprofit ministry that provides educational opportunities for kids in Guatemala)
Besides digital scrapbooking, I enjoy geocaching, hiking, x-country skiing, hanging around with international students, reading, stewarding a little free library, and cheering on my family at their many races . . .
Oh, and I'm Canadian, eh? We put two Ls in journalling and a U in colour on purpose :)

Journalling reads:
The nearby MUGGLES had no clue that we were doing anything but taking advantage of a silly photo op in a unique tree trunk. They had no clue that they were fishing not 5 metres away from a GEOCACHE and they had no clue that we were determined to take home our SMILEY regardless of their presence. The girls played their role perfectly while I moved into position in the trees at GROUND ZERO and stationed myself so that I could check the low-hanging branches for any sign of a cache, while simultaneously taking the photos that made my presence in that odd spot legit. Thankfully, the cache was quickly in hand. We retreated to a nearby bench to sign the LOG
- and then repeated the process to put the geocache back.

This is great. I'm new to digital scrapbooking and have been thinking about using it for documenting our geocaching adventures. Those muggles sure can make the game more interesting. Mrs. DNF ... half of ... Team~DNF
Teddy, it is pez84 ^^
@Kaleena - you'll have to share your geocaching username, so I can friend you :D
This page is fun. We geocache a lot too. The journaling on this page is great and the photo in the stump makes me smile.
Thanks! For the uninitiated (aka muggles) geocaching is a real-life treasure hunt with gps technology. Basically, you go online to download coordinates of geocaches nearby, and then follow your gps until you find the cache container (which contains a logbook to sign, and sometimes some treasures to trade). It's a lot of fun!
Fun layout and wonderful journaling! My kids of have gone geocaching, it sounds like a great activity!
i agree about the title- having all the alpha+photos clustered in 1 place, leaves more room from the journaling. must admit i don't understand what the hobby actually is, but the pics are cool :)
What a lovely LO and interesting hobby!! I think your title works great where it is.
