Hi. My name is Tina and I'm a digi scrapping addict! I started paper scrapping back in 2002 when my youngest son was 2 years old. I discovered digi scrapbooking in 2006 and never looked back. I live in Florida with my DH and our 2 boys and lots of animals!
Well my layout isn't as gorgeous as most I've seen in the gallery using B&W photo's but I gave it a try.
I used parts from several of Marisa's kits. Versailles: I like the muted tones of the paper. I think it really sets off the B&W photo. Elements used from Desert Spring, Spring Field and Boudouin Nights. I used the "Time Machine" effect in PSP to get the Daguerreotype look.
Their definition of this:
"Daguerreotype was widely used from 1839 to 1855, the daguerreotype was the first popular form of
photography. Images were captured directly on a thin piece of silver-plated copper.
Because no negative was produced, copies could not be made, so each image was unique." I can't even pronounce it, lol.
The frame around the photo happened when I applied the effect, I think it turned out pretty good.
