I came to digital scrapbooking by way of Project Life, which I did in physical form for the first year and then tried out doing digitally, and became hooked for life on digital documenting. I made my first designs to share as contributions for Pixel Scrapper blog trains, and am now thrilled to have joined up as a member of the Pixel Scrapper design team! I create products for digital pocket scrapbooking and traditional scrapbooking, and want to support people however I can in creatively and easefully documenting their lives.

This is a layout I would never normally make - hurray for the Layout-a-Day challenge! I don't usually do a whole page layout to scrap just one photo, and I generally shy away from the sentimental. I'm such a cynic.
But my challenge for this layout was to pick 5 kits and use a piece from each: 1st kit: the second paper, 2nd kit: the fourth paper, 3rd kit: the first element, 4th kit: the fifth element, 5th kit: the second element. Then I picked a random week from my photo files and pulled out a photograph that looked like it would go with these colors. It ended up being really fun! When else would I end up making a page about fish? Or one about love, for that matter?
