Description
During Brian’s visit, we visit the King Tut exhibit at Union Station. King Tutankhamen ruled Egypt from 1336 to 1327 B.C. before dying suddenly at age 18. His unopened tomb was found by Englishman Howard Carter in 1922 and contained over 5,000 valuable artifacts, many of them gold. Four gold-covered burial vaults enclosed the coffin, which was actually three successive coffins. The third one was solid gold and had the burial mask inlaid with lapis and other gems. After viewing the exhibit, Sharon tries a pharonic headpiece in the gift shop. September 9, 2014
